just FYI it takes a year to plan out a crossover event. don't be surprised if there isn't one.

Think they said if the remake does well, we might actually get a Seiken Densetsu 3 release outside of Japan. It'd be amazing to have a crossover event in FFXIV to help bolster this. Plus, I just really love the series. My husband and I had discussed a month or two ago how such a shame it was that the Seiken Densetsu series just seems to have fallen by the wayside for seemingly no reason. Hell, I heard of Seiken Densetsu first before I ever heard of Final Fantasy.

I do! In fact, there's a remake of the first game in the series called Adventures of Mana available on Vita and mobile devices, which came out a couple years ago. It's not as refined as SoM was, but you can see where the series started to get its roots, and because it was originally an FF spinoff (The Japanese title is Final Fantasy Gaiden: Seiken Densetsu) there are a few nods to the FF series, such as a chocobo, a moogle status effect, and even a Red Mage who helps you out early on in the game.

I know these kind of things take time, and I'm not really asking for MUCH (the stuff in my OP were just ideas tossed at a dartboard to see what sticks and not a list of demands), but even a small event that nods to the Mana series would be nice.

Why do I feel that any crossover event would involve us having to kill Flammie again, possibly as a FATE boss?
