I think the major problem here is actually the game itself. I never realize that this game runs on 32-bit. What we need first, is a 64-bit game. 32-bit should be obsolete in this day and age...

Changing the client from 32-bit to 64-bit actually wouldn't make much of a difference in any way.

Yea. . . Direct X 9 plays on 32-bit, Direct X 11 plays on 64 bit. In case you weren't aware. The reason why XIV plays on 32/64 bit is to give PC players a wider rang of accessibility, but even they themselves have recommended people move to 64 bit aka Direct X 11 since the release of Stormblood.

Something must not be right cuz my task bar says 32-bit. I'll check again when I log on. Tho I must say, Reshade does an amazing job in adding "live" to the game. The washed out look really bothered me to no end.

Yoshida had already strongly advised players to switch to a 64-bit system months before Stormblood came out.

I know it'd never happen, but I really wished some of the textures uploaded were... of a higher quality. First instance I noticed pixel-ing was one of the carbuncle furnishings. I think the arm chair?

It's also a game that was made to be played only on PC. FFXIV is made to be played on a console as well. That factors in how detailed things will be as well as other things.
