Changing the client from 32-bit to 64-bit actually wouldn't make much of a difference in any way.
Yea. . . Direct X 9 plays on 32-bit, Direct X 11 plays on 64 bit. In case you weren't aware. The reason why XIV plays on 32/64 bit is to give PC players a wider rang of accessibility, but even they themselves have recommended people move to 64 bit aka Direct X 11 since the release of Stormblood.
Something must not be right cuz my task bar says 32-bit. I'll check again when I log on. Tho I must say, Reshade does an amazing job in adding "live" to the game. Yoshida had already strongly advised players to switch to a 64-bit system months before Stormblood came out.
I know it'd never happen, but I really wished some of the textures uploaded were... of a higher quality. First instance I noticed pixel-ing was one of the carbuncle furnishings. I think the arm chair?
It's also a game that was made to be played only on PC. FFXIV is made to be played on a console as well. That factors in how detailed things will be as well as other things.
