    Mini-bosses / map-bosses FATEs are my favorite type of FATEs (probably everyone else's).

    -Defeating a "powerful" single target enemy is more fun than a lot of weak enemies
    -Music is better
    -You can practice rotations like a dummy practice.

    Fair points but I think its over all good to have event stuff accessable to more players which means lower level content, by making them FATEs you can still battle stuff but not just explode it in a single hit. How would you propose to allow the bulk of the player base be able to participate in the event when it's mostly battles(or just the prime rewards are achieved this way) with out using FATEs? Making a low level dungeon would be cool I totally agree but I'm just not sure it would be cost effective? In Wildstar there was a really fun halloween dungeon that basically used a sync system as well. It was made back from when the game itself was doing better so perhaps there is precedent for SE to do the same? What if they just took say Sastasha and changed it up with holiday themes? Would that be better then FATEs and fetch quests?

    They could make the FATE boss more like the new 70 A ranks, or Odin/Ixion where mechanics are involved. Wouldn't be that hard, I'm sure. Whenever aa seasobal event comes up and it's literally just a single small quest and a few turn ins, it really seems like a poor effort. Even in WoW, you get to fight event bosses daily for chances to get cool loot like mounts, costumes, novelty items, transmogs, etc. along with several other things to do.

    Ya... but... its the same bosses, for the same items it has had for several years. And they only altered what they drop/you can collect. Once. Their events don't change. They have no cutscenes. They are just zerg a boss, grab some RNG loot, and try again later if you are unhappy. I prefer the small quick and never the same events per year.

    I wouldn't mind a bit more. But I definitely don't want a WoW dungeon event. Not sure if I'd like a Fate system either... but whatevers. Oo

    What you're asking for is a lot of development time spent in something that is temporary.
    Unless it were something like PSO2 emergency quests which are "events" in the way that they are available for a limit time, and they pop up frequently - then sure..
    Oh hey look, I just described FATEs.

    Honestly I would rather the time spent with seasonal events be spent in improving the areas of the game that are active all the time.

    I liked that Halloween dungeon they had last year for a event. Be nice if they had more of them for events.
