Has it come to the point that letters are offensive now? Better check my literacy privilege!

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
All you do is match the numbers to the letter spots, least that is how mine was set up:
For some reason despite that and taking my time, I did mix up something and got it wrong the first attempt, I do not even know why.
Just wondering though have you had issues with any of the following shown in this thread:

I have Dyslexia (obviously I made the linked thread) and not only did I figure out the puzzle on my own (taking the SS helped) but I was able enter the PW after one mistake (though I did go slowly both times and the first attempt, to me, was the same as the second) Even with all that i do feel the TC makes strong absolutes that are no good.

There is software available that allows even blind people to use the computer w/ a braile keyboard. Its called JAWS. I'm sure there is something else that allows people to have perfect spelling and punctuation as well... *right clicks* Oh hey a spell checker that also checks for grammar... what do you know ;PClaims to have crippling dyslexia preventing them from solving a 6 letter word puzzle. Types with impeccable spelling and grammar. Seems legit.
If your dyslexia is that bad that you cant compete this event then how have you been able to even play this game to be quite honest. How did you get past all the quests that require you to type in specific phrases in order to progress?
So I guess first off, I remember when games had a line that said, "Basic reading ability is required to fully enjoy this game." Did they hurt someone's feelings too much because they couldn't read that?
Also, I'm sorry. I don't see how someone who can't read is making it to content where you need it. The game as Audio cue's because they're easier to pick up than reading, which makes you look away from the action. Just like how I don't see how Dyslexia is an issue here. You have two floors. One with numbers, one with letters, in the same spots. Even a person that can't read can pick up on that. My FC has people with Dyslexia, but the issue wasn't, "DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ME SE IS MEANIE" it was, "How do I know where letters go?" which was fixed easy by mentioning the numbers.
Also, if I want to get technical, they did put something in place. They gave those who would have more difficulty an infinite amount of time, something they could have easily timed. It IS a dungeon after all, it's normally timed. You have literally as much time as it takes you, and that's very generous when you take into account the event's story is your friend being stuck until you crack a code.
It's pretty 2017 that people would pounce on a quest in a MMO for discriminating.......even though the company actually put measure in place to avoid it, even for your dyslexia.
Please. Stop this thread? It's useless.
Wouldn't any amount of reading make you "face your REAL disability"?
Also Ariochie9771:
I don't understand on why you are so intent on letting your disability define you. Many people who play this game have disabilities, and they cope without being catered to.
Moreover, if you are looking for sympathy, I would advise against trying to get it here. Particularly if you continually tell other people they have no disabilities (with no evidence of the same), or that their disabilities are imagined or fake.
I know it's still pretty early in the year with many great threads yet to be created but I'd like to nominate this for best thread of 2017.![]()
