kind of funny because on this side people seem to be arguing for non battle to go further into a hole.for the JP side G6 nodes and treasure maps wont be enough, they want devs to actually change the whole system for Fishing YoshiP said something that they are working on it, but haven't said anything about Miner or Botanist.
JP side has people saying that they bought the game since the package says you can enjoy the game by playing these other class and just because YoshiP came in it all became fighting/battle related. Same with me I started the game this time for 14 as Miner to see how the game plays out as non battle class in a MMORPG but already knew it was going to end up as sub-class so didn't really mind it... but I guess for some they really really don't like/want to play battle class lol

Hopefully they can pull off interesting content on all the disciplines. DoL aren't bad for me most of the time but I can't play them for long stretches of time. Treasure hunting sounds sweet though.
I think that'd be a change for the worse. The caveat is that Fisher needs to expend bait to perform their task. Plus, I've noticed that while fishing is possible without a node present, certain fish can be caught only at the nodes. Dark Bass was a big one for me.
I don't think he meant it that way, more like change the fishing system the part where you drop the line, wait for hit, then doing that crappy mini-game all gatherers have. For me rather have real fishing game like mini-game but that's too much for some people so dunno what's going to happen there.

The reason why things are like this is because they didnt' think outside the box when creating the story content. They could have easily made it where instead you the player playing the role of a fighter, gathering and creator, based on your discipline you would be giving the proper request.
They could of had variables such as
Single Mission:
DoWM=Fight with what was made/gathered/escort
DoL=Gather what's necessary for x cause and deliver it to y person
DoH=Create what is necessary for x cause and send it to y destination
Then they could of had Dual Mission:
DoWM/DoL=Escort gatherer into dangerous territory to gather
DoWM/DoH=Escort Crafter into dangerous territory to produce blueprints or such
DoL/DoH=Gatherer gathers, crafter crafts.
Then finally the Trinity Mission involving all three.
The basic idea is with the "increase challenge" you could be given greater rewards as well as more story for what's being told. Instead of a linear path of storytelling they should have expanded it in sucha way where each discipline had it's own unique line of quest which you would be able to do if you were on the proper class.
Having a more realistic/intuitive system for gathering would be awesome. Like being able to identify markings on trees/rocks for specific items (instead of just using a bar) and aiming for those (but then "aiming" or "marking" would probably need to be more difficult). Or being able to cast your fishing line out to a specific spot (like around driftwood or large gatherings of insects on the water's surface) and then drinking some beer while waiting for a bite and then reeling it in - awesome.

Yeah that is really how it should have been. Unfortunately it isn't what we got so the combat missions had to be solo-able by DoL/DoH. I actually think it would be neat if 2.0 somehow gave them their own non-combat storyline(s) dealing more with stuff within the cities or wilderness instead of saving the world. The class quests for the DoL/DoH actually have some nice stories and characters.
I always wanted something that resembled Zelda Ocarina of Time's fishing mini game. That was fine;/ xi kinda went in a way of that but it wasn't as fun. lol.

my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.
