Can We Have More Dyes Please?

We also really need some more colours in the metallic dye category (black, white, that orange that Rowena was sporting for a while, etc.). Mainly because these can add a bit more shine to certain fabric/material types that would look really dull even when dyed vibrant colours.

I wanted very black. But, "soot black" in-game still look a bit darker gray.
Stupid "Jet Black Dye" only in mogstation. Could be free in-game vendor or craft make it.

Jet black is also a rare drop from "quick" ventures. The tradeable version is "General Purpose Jet-black dye" in the AH as well. Buyable for ingame currency.

I want a proper magenta pink. It's such a basic colour yet it's somehow absent. Some of us love pink SE!

And for the love of all things holy, please stop making undyeable armor that uses custom colors that we don't have available. There are quite a few pieces that are hard to work into glamours because they don't match with what we have available.


Shoot, just bring over GW2s dye system. GW2 really does have a lot of amazing systems in place - wish XIV would borrow a few more of them. :X

I just want the base color of the thav bustier and it's other pieces. It is such a pretty pink. It's also such a pain when you wanna mix match pieces with it, but have to dye the bustier because none of the existing dyes go with it. Please SE, it's such a pretty color ;A;

Only if they are craftable or NPC sold, no more cash shop dyes with 0.00000001% chance to get from quick ventures, this isn't a f2p korean game.

Brought this up a while ago, more specifically for using multiple dyes on one piece of gear. (Such as a primary & secondary colour)..

Apparently the way the dye system is coded currently, they effectively have to add a "model" of each gear with each different dye or something..
So adding new dyes is a real pain in the bollocks.

I think the bigger request would be to overhaul the glamour & dye system to make it more future proof.
