Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

I found this pic as it looks like the 2nd viera art and looks like being dancer (job) :P If they want add viera, i prefer the 1st one. But if i wish a new race for the next extension i would prefer to get lupin 1st and viera after

If that's the case, then maybe Viera fans should focus less on Fran and the Eryut Village Viera clothing and look at what Viera wear in the Tactics Advance games >_>

I actually love the Viera design from XII more than the tactics games. :P

A lot of ppl think that Viera are just humans with bunny ears, but they have some slight differences compared to a normal human body, they are really tall (not counting the ears), they have long arms and legs, which both have different proportions to the ones of a human, (long fingers/ weird feet?), their noses and face structure are kinda shaped to resemble that of a bunny, plus I don't remember if they actually have tails, since most of them have it covered, maybe their weird body shape is what is preventing them from being in the game, since remodelling whole sets of amor from ARR to SB to fit their weird bodies would be too much work.

Maybe I'm biased towards the concept of Viera like you said, since Fran is probably one of my fav characters from the whole series, plus her voice simply melts me when she speaks. <3

I actually don't mind Fran as a character, I just find it funny that when one says "we need real Viera, not stripper playboys!" Fran and the Eryut Village Viera come to mind on how little they wear (maybe even less than the playboy strippers).

I'm hoping it's a healer. Because I'm getting from the way you're phrasing it that anything added as a tank/healer would be irrelevant. But I disagree, if you make a class engaging enough (such as RDM/SAM), people will swap from the other roles to it. With how much hype Dancer got, I don't think making it a healer would be irrelevant. Plus, a Viera Dancer healer, looks like it could be a winning combination.

omg that is such an incredibly shitty design That's like "Intro to Anime 101" with some bunny ears on top. This is literally the last thing we need in the game right now. Be honest here, what is even the appeal of this character especially within the context of FFXIV? Literally no unique features other than the ears. If that's all it takes to be considered "Viera" then yeah, you're better off just using the ears from the Gold Saucer.
