    :/ Most comments here are made based on the assumption that all people using sprint are max level, with all aetherytes attuned and mounts unlocked. Kind of disappointed players <lv20 aren't even brought up.
    For alts and actual new players this isn't particularly fun...
    Even if toggle isn't possible, 2.x/3.x cooldown on sprint (when not in instanced fights) would already be pretty good - whichever is easier to implement, really. And I really don't see this being a change big enough to take up that much time.

    If realism is that important then maybe SE could bring back the fatigue system..

    It's a quality of life change, the biggest one in my opinion, though Ixion is important, it is self contained.

    Movement speed affects the whole game and makes a better experience. Don't tell me people wouldn't go off the deep end if mount speed was taken away or nerfed.

    I think it should be unlimited outside combat, but it doesn't have to be. It must be more lenient and usable for a better experience though.

    When i was a new player, i wasn't using sprint at all. I was too busy enjoying scenarys i never saw, and searching in which direction i should go in all these maps i didn't know. Seeing some mobs with 20 levels more than i was ten meters ahead across a bridge, with an gard near it telling me "errrr seeing your current capabilities you might want to go back", i sure didn't feel like running everywhere at full speed like a retard. Especially when nearly everything was aggroing me.

    And for alts, with more experience you dont stay that long without a mount.

    Hinterlands needs its own Aetheryte and 2 and would be nice! And all zones could use a few Aethernet Shards maybe even quests to add them or make the quests so you can interact to be able to attune to them or repair them and attune to them in Hinterlands< cause you do or did see some destroyed ones in some places?

    We need a setting to auto use Aetheryte Tickets ~ An amount set by the players like set to 500 Gil if a teleport cost over that amount it will auto-use a ticket!

    2018, in the extension after Stormblood, all outdoor maps are boring straight lines corridors without any imagination, liberty and identity, like in a shitty corean f2p. Same for all the towns.

    The players : "devs, why you do this ? You used to design so much better maps !"
    The devs : "well, players were not caring anyway, they all want to speedrun everything by going from point A to point B instantly, not looking at anything around them."
    The players : "that's not true !"
    The devs : "you mean, like when we stopped to do multi paths donjons because you were all running them in the shortest straight line ?"
    The players : "..."
    The devs : "see, why should we bother to do nice things ?"

    Player A: We love the teleports and mounts, the mounts are so fast.

    Player A: We love the atmosphere but feel a better sprint would make interactions more smooth and fun.
    Player B: Why do you want a faster longer lasting sprint? You can't enjoy the scenery if you move too fast.
    Player A: I still enjoy the scenery when I want, but when I don't want to that is what teleports are for.
    Devs: /listens to both feedbacks.

    How about we remove moving out of combat completely from the game? You get a map and can click and you will teleported to the location of your choice. But clicking is kinda annoying as well after some time, so maybe we can have a menu based navigation? The menues could show pictures in the background of the areas we would be footslogging through, just to keep a little bit of immersion up. But not too much, that is scary and uncomfortable.
