Could someone shed some light on this demi human bit?? Are they going to be playable or something? I'm totally lost here.

All they did was mention them. They didn't show any concepts or anything. I really want to see what they have planned. We need more than just 5 races! Hopefully something will be revealed tomorrow

I'm guessing that the demi-human will be a half human half elf race, kinda like Prishe from FFXI, but they might add the choice to mix and match, like maybe half human half miqote or half human half roegadyn. I could be wrong though, just my best guess :P

Ya SE could really go allot of different ways with demi humans. Dragon seems fairly easy to picture but I have no idea what a Demi Human would look like. they(Demi's n Dragons) could be a playable race alligned with the empire? we will soon find out!

I would love to see Male kitties soon. If the options are good I would love to change. I honestly 7 or so years ago when I started ffxi I would of gone male mithra. I can hardly wait. Please SE show some more love and more concept art for the new genders.

Maybe demi-human will be gria-esque haha. Or could be a mistranslation for that raise of horned children that speak to moogles. Would be neat playing as one of them.

EDIT: I was thinking the Demi-human race as a maybe Half Demon, half human race. or maybe Half Ascian, Half Human as It will fit the lore more easily.

Also, I wonder If the Dragon race is gonna be like Humanoid-Dragon type or Dragons like real dragons? 0.0

I see more chances of them adding the Padjal as a playable race, I don't really think they are going to introduce new races to the lore that easily. Though who knows, maybe they will justify adding new races with the umbral era catastrophe and it causing mutations...
