Let's talk about Hunts - a detailed rundown of their assumed mechanics

Can confirm spawn at around 9:00am ET just now after killing Yumemi/naked Yumemi. No one flew over spawn point as far as I can tell considering there was only 1 other person in the zone.

Spawned second killing Yumemi/naked Yumemi, no one was at spawn location.

Spawned all three Okina on Lamia via killing Yumemi/Naked Yumemi.

It doesn't matter if it's Yumemi or Naked Yumemi btw, either will spawn Okina if the window is open.

So it either has a minimum Yumemi/Naked Yumemi kill number or the force spawn can happen anytime killing one during the "last" full moon phase, it seems.

Had 2 12pm Okina pops on Excalibur, still missing 1. I'm not 100% buying the yumemi idea until I see it in action myself, but if it were a trigger condition, the counter would begin as soon as the timer is up, as opposed to having to be completed during the full moon. This will have to be tested over the next few full moons, but keep in mind that just because you were murdering a bunch of yumemi and Okina happened to spawn, that doesn't mean that killing yumemi was part of the trigger. I'm sure there are people in here who know what I mean and know how to verify that their actions are the ones that spawned an S rank as opposed to just blind luck and/or coincidence.

Oh of course not, don't jump your guns just yet - all that's being said here is that there -might- be some correlation, but currently unelucidatable until the traffic in the zones die down a little.

And for those who've been posting spawns, no need to force the Yumemi theory if you're not relatively sure that your actions could have directly caused the spawn. If it pops immediately after, by all means, but if you only establish visuals a while after you're done with whatever steps you were trying to take to spawn it then I wouldn't be too sure about establishing the connection just yet.

Except when you're doing it at a time when you've been the only one in an instance and managed to spawn it. Happened to me in 2 instances yesterday.

It seems a little too coincidental that Okina only decided to start spawning at strange times for several servers after people started killing yumemi when it previously would only auto-spawn at 12 PM for most of them.

If the mob kill can be reached before full moon and still count, then it's not toooo weird. Until now maybe there have been enough players levelling/questing to complete it and so it spawns as soon as it can. We think that's what happened with our first spawn last night as only the second and third were delayed.

Question - has it been confirmed whether we need to complete NPC Fates for Nunyunuwi? I've searched through the thread and there still seems to be some disagreement over what the specifics are.
