I got a Sirensong Sea run last night as WHM because of WT and it'd push me over to 53. The run is uneventful apart from the RDM dying because they ran out of Medica range after an AoE. While I did try to save them, the boss promptly smacked them and Tetra was on CD.
What I notice during the boss fights is that the RDM is hitting me with Vercure from time to time and I'm seeing occasional use of it on the other party members. Now, my stance (as a 70 RDM) is simple - if it's an emergency, have at it. Otherwise, leave it to me. I won't learn the differences between 60-70 WHM if I don't experiment a little and get back into the old healing mindset I used to have in SWTOR. So I ask them to stop. They say one thing: "Anything for you <3" and I just brush it off. Their issue comes when their buddy starts getting passive-aggressive after the last boss: "I love it when people tell support classes not to support".
Leaving aside that there's no "official" support classes like in, say, RIFT.. the primary job of RDM is Magic DPS. I have no issue with an RDM helping in an emergency, as I will gladly Verraise so the healer(s) can keep the other party members up. Same with Vercure, Mana Shift etc. I DO have an issue when you're using something enough to take away from your primary focus and interfere with mine. You're also kind of saying to me "I don't think you're qualified to do your job" which is nonsense. No wipes, 1 death (and that was due to bad luck/timing/planning ahead). And I didn't ask rudely, I just said "Please stop with the Vercures". So anyway, I confront this person's FC mate because I'm a firm believer in "If you have a problem, say it to my face and not to my back". Especially as you're trying to leave so you can get away with it.
"I get more pussy than you and I'm a girl", "You're a retarded Mentor", "You take it balls deep in the ass" were just some of the insults I received from this person. Emote spam and jumping around me. An admission to trolling because "it felt good" to them. The RDM oddly enough tries to calm things down a little. Eventually I just leave. I've been playing since 2.5 and it's very rare that I get bad parties. One reason I kept playing this over WoW or SWTOR is that the community just felt "better". But ever since Stormblood hit, I feel like that's gone down the drain. And it'll likely continue. Next it'll be "lol scrub, u can't run this expert because u not at max ilvl" :P.

Only way to get kicked is if there is a vote.
I'm the same with my RDM(will add story at bottom to separate it out), and only heal/raise if the healers are having a hard time(afore mentioned story)What I notice during the boss fights is that the RDM is hitting me with Vercure from time to time and I'm seeing occasional use of it on the other party members. Please, please, PLEASE, tell me you reported them. Tanks(or anyone for that matter) that are like that should not be playing MMOs. Sadly, we can't police them in an effective way."I get more pussy than you and I'm a girl", "You're a retarded Mentor", "You take it balls deep in the ass" were just some of the insults I received from this person. Last night got Ala Mhigo for my EX roulette, no bonus. Everything is going fairly smooth(albeit somewhat slower than some of the other runs, but nothing to cause any commotion), until JUST before final boss when you fight the two giant dudes. Somehow the healer dies(don't even see it, but I think they stood in overlapping quarter-circle cleaves), and I quickly cast Jolt II then Verraise on them. Instantly upon casting, I notice the tank(PLD) is about 1/2 HP. Start with Vercure, then Dual Cast another. After that second one hits them, they ask me to help with healing them(though they've been topped off already since both were crit heals). No other mess ups throughout the rest of the dungeon, and got two commendations for it.

Just as a clarification, the one insulting me was the second DPS. A SAM, I think.
On the topic of reporting: regrettably, no. I have no faith in SE to actually do anything of merit. They'd likely just slap them on the hand with a warning when the punishment should at least be a 48h suspension for those kinds of comments (at least in my opinion). But it's worth a try. Plus I have the date and time that they'd need. So might as well try.
Edit: And the one who went crazy on me is the leader of their FC. The RDM.. 2IC. *facepalm*

Don't think I need a story to go with this, since it speaks for itself![]()
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
