I grinded for hours before and never hit this mysterious second timer that would have required me to totally move fishing holes. Where is this proof that is exists?

I've had it happen when grinding fishing while all I was doing is going back and forth between spearfishing and fishing for pets in Costa del Sol.
I would actually swim over to the island after teleporting there, try to cast my line and it would tell me the fish sense something amiss.
I don't think this is a timer so much as a cap on the number of casts you can have at one fishing hole before you need to move elsewhere, cast into a different hole once, then go back, as that always fixes it for me.
have any of you tried using release?
ever since they added that skill i release everything except my targeted fish and haven't had that happen to me once
It's a big annoyance when you pop patience and get this on your first or second cast. Considering it was designed this way before fishers had any gp skills it made enough sense then; it doesn't now. Preventing you from using patience with this message would be much better.I am really confused, all you need to do is move a few steps. I do not find it a real hindrance and I am not sure if it is worth changing. They need more bot counter measures though, as there are BTN/MIN bots able to unspoiled cycle 24-7 (very popular 3.3? to the end of HW) so i am sure a fishing bot can easily get around it. (if it exists, it is easier to see those unspoiled bots, prob more profit too, lacking the rng element)
Just fish in one fishing hole long enough, you'll get it.
This is a Anti-Bot Measurement, stay too long on a single Spot and you get this Message.
Simply Teleporting to New-Gridania (Any Place) and just Fishing for a single second there allows you to go back to your Old Fishing Spot and continue.
It's a Feature that is completely useless by now, Bots tend to avoid this Message and just move a bit away from their Spot or go to another Fishing Hole.

I know why the measure is there. I played FF11 where fishing bots actually did something. But, I have just never had to totally switch fishing pools. I have had the move a few steps but yeah. Maybe I'm just lucky. This is a Anti-Bot Measurement, stay too long on a single Spot and you get this Message.

I have never had it either, so it's either very inconsistent, or you have to be at one hole for an extremely long amount of time to get it.

That would make sense for the second one. I remember fishing for Papira Pira and Dactyls and encountering this problem. I found it strange since the Papira were weather related so I didn't think I'd ever encounter that. Diadem was definitely more frequent.
