Hey, welcome to FFXIV! I'm on Sargatanas, but the code works for any server. Look up Mika Myrskye on Sarg if you want to hang out or ask questions and get up to speed on things. I'm a recent returnee as well so it's pretty crazy how much you can get overwhelmed if you look at everything at once.

Just go into your S-E Account, click on Mog Station > Your Account > Enter Recruitment Code

Yes. To use one of these codes, a player has to have bought and registered the game, but not have added any more subscription time (not counting the 30 days that comes free with purchase of the game).
