Keep that smut out of ANY p2p. You wanna winbywallet do it somewhere else. That would be the death of XIV and the minute SE introduces any type of cash shop is when I forget who SE is. The moment I say goodbye to any SE made product.

no no no no no.
I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request. Means "no".

Cash shops are great if you like buying your way to victory or absolutely have to have that cape, however the moment a cash shop is introduced into XIV is the last hope gone for this game.
no thanks, i personally hate the direction all gaming industry is going ...with all the dlc's and extra's and costume packs/characters they try to milk more money out of you for. ...i hate cash shops to boot. don't get me wrong i enjoyed the mini expansions in ffxi, and i love dlc's like all the fallout ones. but we payed for the game, we pay monthly it should all fit in that money.
gaming industry is one of the few things that aren't getting cheaper, or nor they trying to give you more for your money. they trying to charge you for that extra instead. i'll buy the ones i really want too but ... just not good to me. take comcast (cable/internet provider) in past few years they went digital (all good) but forced to pay for cable to see free channels, kk. then they make u get these tiny little boxes for every tv. 2 free and average house i think has 5+ tvs? so yay to that but you don't really need them less you want just a few channels more, ...now ..they took all the channels out lmao, u get the free 5channels on them now so you need em for the rest of the house. that is a steep slop, and gaming industry is in same direction. that is my rant, i'm not totally cheap but ...erg ..they are crooks.

A cashshop that sells worthwhile items in a P2P mmo is just pure greed by the company (Blizzard selling mounts in WoW for example). And honestly i would rather pay illegal rmt making a dollar a day then pay a company that is making billions a year extra money to enjoy a game I am already paying for (not saying I buy gil or anything but if I had to choose between the 2 I would not pay SE or any other MMO company). So No this game should never have a real cash shop as long as it is P2P. Things like vanity items (piano in your house, holiday cloths) and things like server transfers and name changes. They can have a shop for those, sell a 1 def/no stats Santa hat for $5 I do not care. But the cashshop cannot have anything that improves your character in anyway even if it is a minor improvement.
If it goes F2P well almost all my linkshell and myself would simply quit so at that point I could care less. Game is more or less over if it gets to that point though.
No, never ever.

Eh, why not? It's your money. Use it any way you want to.

No thank you.
I realize there would not be a subscription fee if there was a cash shop. And all the people who want to keep playing for free or reduced price would be able to. And people that want to pay could.
What's next? Charging real world currency for extra storag space or character slots?
Snow already owns the Shiva mount.
