Regarding: Centurio Tiger mount

I havent JUST started playing this game - my sub has been going for over a year now and I'm not even half way into those achievements. Hell, I'm not even 1/4. While I dont disagree long-term hunters should get rewards, and by no means should it be an "easy mount" but gating it behind hundreds of days and hours of straight playing this game is ridiculous.

I dont mean to attack you in any way by what I'll be saying next (and I also agree that the tiers below the ones that are required now are probably enough of a gate already - I'm surprised myself that they did something like this after they decided there wont be any more vet-rewards because people couldnt catch up...) but I feel one of the real problems here is that they gated a mount behind that people want - not that theres a mount or something gated behind it. People would probably care less if it were a title or a pet (or a less cool mount).
And again: There are obviously longterm comitted hunters out there who got there tiger "already" (aka: after years of active hunting) - is it only okay to reward those people with something you dont actually want?
I totally get the con here - if a lot of people want something, make it easy for a lot of people to obtain. Does make sense.
But at the same time it doesnt really sit right with me to take the stance of "Yes, give them rewards... but only something I dont care about"

(Still agreeing on "it could be the lower tiers required for this" - but I hope I got my point across at the same time xD And well... at the end of the day it makes sense businesswise to give people something they want but ooooonly if they're comitting for a long time...)

I think it's fine for some achievements to be near impossible for the average player to complete. I also think it is fine for certain achievement rewards to be rather exclusive and rare.

With that said...the problem here is that the tiger mount was added specifically due to players requesting it to be added. Yet much like with the Hellhound mount - which was also specifically requested - most people who asked for it will never see it because it is locked behind lofty achievements.

First off, I didn't even know this thing existed.

Secondly, holy shit what? It'll take most players YEARS to get that thing! Why even put in the dev work of making that tiger into a mount if it's so hard to get?!

I think that's the point. The longer you are subbed the more money they get. Simple really. Also, factor in how S rank hunts in ARR are killed in a few seconds should help exacerbate the difficulty of obtaining such an "achievement".

It should be around 200, same as the pvp and tank mounts. Hell the mentor one should have been 200 as well.

Not all achievements should be easy. It's a hardcore hunt achievement and people have it. They worked for it you can too if you really want it.

Hunts are really not that fun if you on a server were people want to pull as soon as they get to the mob so it half dead if not completely dead by the time you can get there. Which makes this achievement twice as hard then what it already is.

People had been asking for a Tiger mount for ages, and when they finally gave it to people it was locked behind lifeless achievements. I'm perfectly ok with people having an exclusive Cerberus mount from PvP rankings, I am throughly pissed off though that the one thing I was hoping for to be a mount is locked behind stuff you either have to ignore everything else in game and solely focus on.

I'm on Cerberus, and most of the time I'm trying to hunt, there are people that pull it and kill it before I can even get to the part of the map it's on. I know this is an MMO where we have to work with others to get things done, but people who pull everything before you have a chance to even get there makes achievements like these a damn pain in the ass to even attempt.
