Wada and SE looking into discount. What price is acceptable?

I am a bit surprised that this thread hasn't been made.

The producer LIVE letter introduced Wada at the very end. He stated that SE is looking into pricing discounts to ensure they get the most out of player subscriptions until 2.0.

Several people on the forums, including myself, have publicly stated that because the game is "50% to launch ready," that we would pay 6-7 dollars to support the game. I find this a fair an acceptable discount.

SE has been doing very well at listening to our concerns and suggestions, and I feel this is an appropriate time to officially tell SE what we'd like to see in a discount for subscriptions.

My take: 6-7 dollars. They can even increase the amount by 1 dollar at patches and I think it would be a fair compromise. I'd be willing to support them this way.

Too bad it got locked due to mindless bickering. I actually had a point to make in that thread and hardly anyone seemed to notice.

The bickering had little to do with the concepts behind the thesis of the thread. It was just mutual misunderstanding. The thread itself was fine and should be taken for consideration aside from the fighting. You just didn't like seeing it bumped to the front all the time (as you said multiple times in the thread in question).

"because of the fighting" That's why I wanted it buried. the fighting just wouldn't stop.. nor let up I had my share.. but I just wanted it to stop altogether.. That thread it self had no Civilized talking.. just 2 sides clashing and it didn't stop "till it got locked"

But im not going to start another argument here, so im going to drop it at that

1.20: $7 a month

1.21: $8 a month

1.22: $9 a month

1.23: $10 a month (This is where we get a good deal of new content, like the Imperial Legatus boss battles)

1.24 and beyond: $11+

You know, I'd be OK with this. $1 more per patch until it hits whatever their desired amount is. In fact - that's friggin genius. It's kind of like our way of telling SE "Hey, you're getting more and more stuff into this game and we're getting closer and closer to the full release, here's some more money as a reward for all your hard work".

This makes perfect sense.
