Maybe I'm blind, but I haven't ever seen a thread genuinely asking for the fight to be Merced. What I have seen is thread after thread of people pleading for the fight to not be Merced and then few doomsaying threads along the lines of "face it guys, square is you g to bow to the bads and nerf it"

If the fight does get nerfed I feel it's going to be because of all these threads asking for it not to be nerfed that square saw and were like "Why would we nerf it? Is this something we should be looking at?" Which is you going to be both hilarious and stupid.

I was finishing up the story on my RDM last night, my first group I was in the tank was telling us to vote kick him out, we will never make it past the dungeon (the Royal Menagerie). Everyone abandoned except me, I just waited for it to fill up again (within 5 min) and got through it with minimal wipes (mainly me lol). My gripe was how are we supposed to learn the fight if you don't stick with it and practice? I was pissed at that tank for not giving the first group a chance. You were a noob at the fight once also..

Because of self centered people like that tank, it will likely be nerfed so that no one gets stuck due to people leaving like that. I haven't had it for my Trial Rou yet(partially because I have been using Trial Rou to level other classes), but when the weekly cap tomes come out, I will be doing it(and hopefully getting that trial).

Nothing in that article indicates that a nerf is being considered. It's just a polygon article on the community opinions that are for, or against nerfing the Royal Menagerie.

Personally, I don't think they should nerf it. And if they do want to make it a bit easier, then they should only add the echo to it.

Echo is the traditional way to nerf stuff without actually nerfing it. It's kind of a win/win. If echo nerfing doesn't alleviate perceived issues they might consider something further down the line, but adding echo is a way to ease difficulty without actually nerfing the fight.

This, alongside the solo instance before Omega, can and should be considered as the "attunement" to being able to enter to that raid.

Honestly I feel the real boss is not Shinryu but other players. As was stated in the article and as I have seen a few times (even the first week) people are so quick to declare the party hopeless and bail out, forcing everyone to restart with no people, no direction on what happened or went wrong and forcing the dps to wait 30+ again. Now perhaps the PF is a good idea for these people so they may find like minded people but when the boss is still new, you'd think people would be more accepting but then again we also live in the world of "Susano EX, farm" on day 1 lol

find a good friend that can help you clear if you stuck on DF (reminder this is MMORPG man not single player RPG) .. it's do able with 4mans pls stop ask nerf? learn how to play not learn how to asking some nerf!
