I'm sicked and stressed this boss.
I wanted make him a bit weak. It's why. Also in trial.
Would players not get done MSQ, When they come worst stress

Maybe I'm blind, but I haven't ever seen a thread genuinely asking for the fight to be Merced. What I have seen is thread after thread of people pleading for the fight to not be Merced and then few doomsaying threads along the lines of "face it guys, square is you g to bow to the bads and nerf it"
If the fight does get nerfed I feel it's going to be because of all these threads asking for it not to be nerfed that square saw and were like "Why would we nerf it? Is this something we should be looking at?" Which is you going to be both hilarious and stupid.
Their description of the fight is... strange.
"To win against the giant enemy dragon, players will have to stay stable on a floating platform, avoid waves of additional enemies, fill up a bar as quickly as possible and even work with a teammate they’ve been suddenly chained up to. It’s grueling, just as you’d expect an endgame boss to be."
> stay stable on a floating platform: Do they mean when the platform freezes? You don't really need to stay "stable" otherwise.. you just need to not walk off. Tornado and tidal wave aren't so much trying to stay stable....
> avoid waves of additional enemies: Uh, yeah there are 3 groups of adds during one phase. Not like it's a constant thing that happens.
> fill up a bar as quickly as possible: ??? Are they talking about the Aether Bar? Why would you WANT to fill it? Or are they talking about LB? Confused... Oh wait. They're talking about the ATE. LOL.
> even work with a teammate they’ve been suddenly chained up to: And even a mechanic that's older than level 60 content! Oh no! What will we ever do?!

Shinji does not approve of this thread.
By Merced I mean nerfed but my phone doesn't let me edit things and doesn't recognize basic wordsMaybe I'm blind, but I haven't ever seen a thread genuinely asking for the fight to be Merced. Most likely will get nerfed. I don't want it to. But devs will look at completion rate just like they did with steps of faith
Sadly, I think you're right. There's just nothing hard about this fight. Maybe a bit too long after you've done it so many times? Either way there's no need to dumb down the mechanics. If you look at them, they're all linked to other mechanics. I just don't see where the confusion comes up.
Player A: "Okay when the ground freezes..don't move."
Player B: "stack together..got it."
Player A: "No don't move. Like Shiva."
Player B: "Shiva..yup..got it...the..rock guy?"
Player A: "Shiva..the primal!"
Player B: "The fat whale that flies in the sky?"

A bit melodramatic don't you think? Where is your proof that "new players" will get frustrated? I think entitled players who say "I want everything on a silver platter" will, but those are in the minority, and the game would be better off without those players holding the game hostage with their sub money.
If a player wants to beat this fight, they will. If they want to roll on their back and cry (or even go as far as to quit over it) without trying then they don't deserve the nerf.
People just really need to get over this 1 or 2 wipes and then, "everyone used jump potions, the sky is falling! we will never beat it!" thing... Even players experienced with the game may need to see it once or twice before it clicks. I personally haven't gotten to it yet. But take my first shot at the Lakshmi fight. On our first run even though I did some research on it and knew what I was supposed to do I died 4 times personally. And others were dropping like flies as well. It was a terrible first attempt and we looked like newbs. Second attempt we all had a little more understanding of it and it clicked and we killed her with no deaths. I even got a few commendations for it as a dps. Point is, study all you want, noone is experienced at any fight until they are actually experienced...
