    Yeah, I believe it was a hotfix shortly after 2.1 that ensured Hallowed could only affect damage already intended for you.

    What would be truly overpowered is if you were to receive only what damage passes through the other tank, or even just if Intervention applied its damage reduction first. Not recommending that, but it is an interesting thought.

    For now Cover just allows the OT to be shielded instead as to forgo Shield Oath for either tank in fights where the tankbuster occurs every 60 seconds or more, such as Susano. OT Shelltrons, MT Interventions. Sense.

    Tempered Will has, over time, kind of become a meme and it's a bit annoying. Shouldn't be ignored by mechanics nearly as much as it is.

    Yeah, but what I was trying to point out is that PLDs who are already definitively superior at literally everything when it comes to Tanking aren't exactly in any dire need of immediate extra improvements when the other two Tanks are still so heavily lacking. Since when I see PLDs asking for even more improvements when they're already so lacking in any remaining downsides just feels rather greedy and selfish. I mean they don't need to be this exalted image of pure absolute flawless perfection. Sometimes a few downsides are actually necessary to maintain a degree of balance. One can't always just simply have literally everything without giving up even a single thing in return. Since at the moment they're currently the best Tank for damage, mitigation, raid utility, AND even self-healing. There's not a single thing they can't do better. Which is why it bugs the hell out of me that they can't just simply be satisfied with already being the best and having taken literally everything from DRK/WAR. Also, it's very hard to have any faith in SE properly fixing things for the other Tanks given the extremely sad state they left PLD in for all of 3.X. So naturally many DRK/WAR players are worried that SE won't properly address this situation and are going to leave them in such a severely gutted state until 5.0.

    The only thing about PLD that bugs me right now is that Shield/Sword Oath are still on the GCD for some reason.

    I still don't find it as satisfying to play as WAR or DRK somehow, even if it is objectively better. I think might be that their attack animations and sounds just lack oomph.

    Why would you want to weaken Cover like that ? On it's own, Enhanced Cover offers the same mitigation as Intervention+Rampart, and you can pop Rampart on top of that.

    LOL, I know that =) I play smn from time to time. I'm just saying it feels weird. I understand there are times where we are out of mele range but 99.9% of the rest of the time? Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for its removal, I just thought it odd that we got it instead of a gap closer.

    Might just be me but I never use this skill ... ever. Actually I took it off my bar again. Even enhanced cover just does nothing for me personally. I'd like to see cover changed to the current10% Intervention effect with Enhanced Cover adding the ability to transfer 50% of Rampart / Sentinel Effects.
    This is worse than current Cover unless you pop Sentinel with it and getting it back to current Cover would require you pop Rampart. Dunno why you'd want this.

    4) Intervention

    Another fairly lackluster skill. Right now tank busters aren't dealing enough damage to need more mitigation and PLD really lacks both a gap closer and gauge dump skill.
    I, personally, would like to see this changed entirely to:
    Right now, no. In Savage (aka the 8man content where Intervention is relevant) I can see Intervention filling CD holes for cleaves or helping another party member (healer/DPS) mitigate a mechanic targeted on them. It's extremely strong in that regard and only really worthless in 4man content, in which you have Sheltron to use your gauge on anyway.

    Cast: Instant, Recast: 15s
    Range: 15y, Radius 0y
    Effect: Creates a beam of light to draw the Paladin to their target and damages with a potency of 100.
    Shield Oath effect: Increased enmity.
    Sword Oath effect: Restores MP.
    Oath Gauge cost: 50
    Can only be executed while under the effect of Sword Oath or Shield Oath.
    Cannot be executed while bound.
    This would be ok, but hardly a replacement for something as strong as Intervention.
