Was on the way to 70 doing Duty Finder spam. Got Susano from Trials. Other tank is a Dark Knight and immediately exclaimed his desire to MT. You know, because Susano. I go Deliverance and get ready to ride the gravy train. 10 seconds in Dark Knight's face meets floor. I have to put on my pants and do the things. Sword phase comes in and Dark Knight doesn't even bother to try to get the Active Time Maneuver. I think he didn't try in part due do shame.

For me personally, it's more like "sorry guy, please don't panic!"

I feel like they use it out of fear...but I could also be misunderstanding. Granted, I do let my tankerinos get a tad low sometimes.

I spam it during big pulls because Holy/Gravity/Bane hit a lot harder than Total Eclipse.

Clemency is just part of PLD's tanking kit, like Equilibrium is for warrior. The fact PLD can't have spells interrupted by damage anymore further says this.

I was running levelling roulette with 2 FC mates me as WHM them as SAM and RDM. We all had all classes at 60 or above. Ported into Satasha with a brand new tank who runs off before I can cast protect and pulls 3 sets of trash. Unsuprisingly he croaks and I who have sprinted to get to him also croak from all the damage I have taken from all the adds he hasn't retained agro of. He proceeds to call me a s*** healer. I try to explain that I can't heal and run at the same time and he calls me a liar. When my two FC mates try to explain that healers are static the new tank says I am a f****** c*** and I should learn my f***** job. My two FC mates tried to tell him that he should do smaller pulls but he continues to hurl abuse at me so naturally we kick him and get a very nice new tank who we help through the rest of the dungy. The vitriol especially coming from a sprout was.... disturbing

As a side point, I don't understand why they would dislike that dungeon. I LOVE tanking it. Especially the final boss.

I would never just leave a dungeon because I hate running it, but ever since Early Access, I've been running 50/60 roulette as either PLD or SCH. More than half of those roulettes have dropped me into Keeper of the Lake and I am just so sick of it. If I'm running as SCH, I get tanks who don't know how to pull and DPS who think swearing at me is a good idea. If I'm PLD, I get healers who get themselves killed on bosses, and DPS who just plain never LB. Not even at the final boss. It's just so sad to see them sit on a full LB bar the entire run, only to waste it on the last 4% of Middy.

Queue up with a RDM friend and me as the healer, we get temple of the fist, the tank over pull at the 2nd green wall and there's more adds than i can handle (even with precense of mind + cure2 spam and ect..), the other dps was a MCH. We wiped and the tank blame my RDM friend for not using his AOE spell more, then my friend tells him 'Sorry i only have 1 AOE spell', the tank replies 'No you have 3', my friend replies 'No, i have 1 spell and 2 skills that have cooldowns'. It stays like that and after the coeurl boss, he vote my friend out for 'harassment' of all thing. He has the audacity to say 'We'll do slow pull until we get another DPS'.

I tell him, 'Well, that was my friend you just kicked, so you'll have to find a healer too'.


Whats funny is that the tank didn't complain at the MCH either (lets be honest, MCH isn't really setup for good AOE either), cause when we looked at the contact list, they both were from the server, so we made 1+1 and they most likely were friend.


In the end, because the person who starts the vote = 1 vote for yes, i couldn't do anything to stop it. Because it was 2 yes VS 1 no, and even if i didn't vote, a timed-out vote count as a yes. So the result would of been the same.

Some ppl are just bad and don't know how to play their job. Saw a lv 70 WAR with 450 dps and cant hold any agro at all in shinryu

ran stone vigil with a DRK all lvl20-25 gear and trinkets/accessories.... asked why he was equipped with that shit and he said he was speed leveling and didn't want to spend money on gear as well as the healer's job to keep him alive.

Kicked and avoided wiping on the bosses.

A simple tip for people who can't get enough poetics to gear up to 129 at level 50, or 269 at level 60:

A rank hunts give a nice amount of tomestones in addition to clan seals, and respawn every 5 hours. Join a hunt linkshell, join a hunting party, hit the target once and you get all the contribution that your party gets for the mark. All you need is a weapon. You can show up naked to the fight for all it cares.

So with this in mind, is it really necessary to show up in a 60+ dungeon wearing ilvl 200 gear? Somehow, I don't think so.

A sucky tank in satasha is fine, a tank that pulls the whole dungeon however is not. And if you start doubling down on people who have more experience and start spouting profanity, then you're a goner

So I used the BL feature on a PC for the first time. This cocky SAM WHO WAS A MENTOR! He pulled everything and got pissy when he died and did it again. Then started bossing people around. He was on another server so I'll never see him again. But yeah, over three years and I've used it on RMTs.
