    I miss the old WAR decision making.

    If we're keeping Shake It Off, give me back the old Berserk. I want a damage buff that has consequence and forward-thinking into it's usage. I want to feel different from other classes when I use my cooldowns; where is the differential from Fight or Flight? I'm a Warrior whose trying to tame this 'inner beast' which had so much fantastic lore and flavor back in 3.x training with Curios Gorge that when we go berserk, we should be out of control with some down-side! I want synergy with my class and decision making; do I use Shake It Off to remove this personal debuff from berserk? Do I save it for an upcoming mechanic? Are my healers busy, do I need to have it ready for them to have their attention elsewhere?

    Shake It Off would have been the perfect continuation and additional layer to a system that worked so well in the past. Add whatever else you want to it but I think it should be half the cooldown time of the old Berserk, whilst giving us that old iteration back.

    Onslaught needs to generate gauge and be used of combat so we can have more choice in how we spend our gauge, we want to charge into battle SE!

    Upheaval is the perfect example of a synergistic ability made well on a class that is supposed to be the tank with increased HP through Thrill of Battle whilst giving us additional incentive to swap back into Defiance - absolutely love it.

    Our raid utility outside of Storm's Path was our self-sustain; we have some of the best abilities in the game for mitigating damage (and only been buffed since the cross-role changes imo). Our Bloodbath is gone and we're a shell of what we used to heal now that we're being gated/forced into Deliverance to meet damage requirements otherwise we're 'not tanking right'.

    There are a number of changes that have been made to this class that really hurt it's decision making capabilities and I don't want to repeat a lot of what has already been said about Infuriate, Inner Release etc. but I want that freedom and unrivaled flow back in this class. This game isn't just about numbers, the RPG-element of our classes should also be represented in our spell kit/tools, as it stands Berserk is frustratingly boring to use.

    I agree with you 100%. My #1 complaint about Warrior right now is how useless Shake It Off is. It doesn't have a single purpose in any of the raids or trials currently available. How awesome would it be if it removed stuns, vulnerability stacks, or debuffs that you would have otherwise gotten for standing in AoE attacks from bosses and not moving out of the way like everyone? It'd be like yeah, everyone has to move out of the AoE, BUT NOT YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE A BAD-ASS WARRIOR THAT CAN JUST SHAKE IT OFF!!!

    But no...

    They remove Bloodbath, penalize us for stance-swapping, rid us of our raid utility, and give us what is probably the most useless skill in the game right now, when it could have been the coolest thing about playing a Warrior! I still continue to play as one, but it just bugs me how things could be so much more fun than they are right now. Especially when you look at what happened to some of the other classes.

    Yeah, as stated here, there was a lot of impactful decision making and synergy that made the class fun. I really miss it.

    Meanwhile... "Oh WAR is fine." "Buffs would make it overpowered." "I'm having fun with WAR right now."

    Agree as well. I don't even feel the incentive to level any other classes/jobs right now considering the current state of WAR.

    Playing samurai now but miss the old WAR dearly, I don't even enjoy SAM that much to be honest but hey I can still use Bloodbath as a DPS ...... (long sigh)

    Yeah, the fact that some people are having fun / think WAR is fine / etc. is fine? I'm glad that they're enjoying it, but the fact of the matter is that a lot of people aren't right now, and the average player is having a much more difficult time with WAR than they used to.

    Agreed. I don't like playing PLD now because I get annoyed about how great the PLD changes are compared to the WAR changes. I wish that the WAR changes were just as good!

    I think it'd be fine if they weren't saying WAR doesn't need buffs and it'd be overpowered with buffs.

    I'm confused. War used to be the easiest class in the damn game you just spammed see until you zerked or decimated and pacification never mattered necause the neard hot it or he got kicked. NOW you have to think ten moves ahead to figure out where u will be in your rotation when you cap on gauge and how to properly spend it while still ending on full for both your super zero and your shit zero sooooo I don't know what them hell your talking about. Except when u were talking about shake it off, delete that shit.

    The issue is not that war got nerfed, its that they took everything and gave nothing, and made them less fun to play by penalizing stance swapping, which they seem to be built to do despite that. They also have no sustain compared to other tanks now too, which used to be their identity. They provide nothing the other tanks don't do better, and its not like PLD that was at least decent for progression by having crazy defense (not that that earned them any spots), they excel at nothing now.

    I am very familiar with the situation we are in atm. I was speaking to the wanting decision making back portion of ops post not the state of warrior. But on that Note war sustain is fkn great on war, and your tripping war has by far the best defensive toolkit of all the tanks. and yes we do less damage on the top but 99.9% of the people on there forums are not at the top its irrelevant to them which can do more because they wouldnt have the skill to out dps a good drk or pld even if fell cleave way 800 potency. so instead of complaining about the max potential of the classes most people need to tune up their damage and work on rotations. Even when se does fix war most people are still gonna do lower damage because they dont know how to play the class optimally.

    Oh and holmgand is the best ultimate of the three by a long shot. It a 3 min CD which I use every other tank buster and I get to avoid kickbacks. Shit is great. The other tanks are way too damn long and living is terrible. You can't even use it without healer aid. Hallowed is 7 min CD -_- so one maybe two activations if you use it early in a long fight which is terrible. Nice for cheesing some mechs though so not as bad as loving imo.
