Why doesn't the vast major of RDM raise people? Was trying to do Susa Ex just now with an idiot of a co-healer. This guy died every 30 seconds. We had two RDMs in the party. Guess how many raises and vercures these two did? Absolutely none. If you see more than one person dead, why don't they try to raise? =.=

I simply don't understand this either and never did even with SMNs were the only other DPS class that could raise. RDM have even /less/ excuses than SMN as well because it isn't that hard to get back to top DPS with a RDM where as a SMN is fucked if their dots have fallen off. The only RDMs I know who actively raises people to help ease the healing load are in my FC it seems and that's partially because we're friends and they want to make things easier for me if the entire party is going to shit.

T'he way I've always understood it is as follows: If there's only one person dead and no massive incoming damage, the healer should handle the raising. If there's more than one then the DPS needs to wait and watch for the second healer's actions before stepping in. More than two? DROP EVERYTHING AND HELP. Especially in Susano EX where you need that DPS LB3 for most groups to pass Enrage.

Why do tanks never use their CDs while doing leveling dungeons? Like literally never. I can understand WAR cuz they have basically no CDs anyways but like....PLD and DRK bro.....I know you got some CDs to use so fucking use them after you pull 3 mob packs. I don't have infinite mana. I can only sit here and spam Largesse Cure II for so long before you die. Use some goddamn CDs.

Can relate. Got Doma Castle the other day, and this tank would never ever pop ANY CD's at all, not even Rampart. When I pointed it out, that the run would go smoother if she'd pop a CD once in a while, she yelled to stick something up unfamiliar places, swore, and left the dungeon.

Have no idea what that was about. The next tank also didn't use any CD's but at least was a nice guy.

Not so much of a "horror" story as a funny one. The static I'm in ran Susano EX on Thursday, really getting it down more regularly, except for one time that sticks out in memory. I don't remember how the rest of the party died, but I was one of the last people, so, naturally, I get jailed. The tank goes down since my fairy can't keep it up. So, since there's no targets left for him to smack, many mechanics go off without anything happening while I wait for the jail to kill me. Well, that was until we get to Stormsplitter. He charges up the swing facing the jail I'm in - then turns and rips Lily a new one. I was dying (then died for real).

Decided to do the level 69 dungeon on my white mage. At the second pack of adds spawning from the containers, the tank decides to only pick up one of them. Spam everything I have on myself, but inevitably die cuz the mobs hit hard enough to consistently interrupt my spells and I only have so many instants. Wipe and restart.

The run goes smooth up until the very last pack where there's a big mob and a few smaller ones. Once again, the tank only picks up one of them, the big one, while I'm being chased by the smaller ones.

Both times I pulled the mobs onto the tank, who refused to use any aoe skills other than Salted Earth. I would have understood him if I had ran ahead and pulled, but I got aggro from healing him since he didn't aoe...

Unsynced Zurvan ex for WT, me as solo healer (AST). First phase, people spread fire puddles all over the place, 1 person even manages to die. Second phase, people mess up bite. Add phase, people get confused and run to walls, I use my ED and other stuff to try to save them and keep raising people. Somehow I miss the tank's HP going down super fast and tank dies. DDs comment in chat "healer doesn't know what he's (sic) doing".

Yeah sure, completely my fault. Or not.

I just had a melee DPS throw a hissy fit over being asked to use lb3 on Susa Ex. 'We don't need to use LB3! It's all positioning that's the problem!' We'd gotten Susa down to 4%, no LB at all, and we died from the enrage. =.=; What's the issue here? He literally laid and said no when we asked him to use it. And then tried to vote to disband the group! I don't understand this. Can someone explain it? We were at 4%. We could've taken him down! We had the DPS, we had the heals, we had the tanks! And then he just sits there, refusing to do anything afterward. Did like 5 vote dismissals in a row. He was our only melee dps. The pressure of using LB3 when it came up was too hard?

D...does he think that all limit breaks are the same? Because that response just tells me that he thinks he would've been using the healer LB3.
