People need to understand that they've said in the past that magic would be moved around between the two classes to readjust the balance (along with gain new actions). They might go ahead and move the elemental nukes over to THM.
So the spiritual tree huggers are White Mages and the self-interested hedonists are Black Mages? I think I can dig it.
I also don't see why everyone is losing their *** so early. Just wait until next week when we see the ability changes. Maybe *** won't be so bad.

So the elemental talkers deal with life energies, and followers of a god of life and death deal with elemental energies?
there is no guarantee that they will move elemental skills to thaum, also black mage may not be an elemental master in this game.
Say for example its thm/con, they will gain access to nukes, if blm has some native magic potency trait, they will probably be better or equal to a conjurer.
Essentially they can keep the elemental nukes on con, and give the black mage jobs nukes like gravija, ultima, meteor, death, etc. essentially non elemental distructive spells.
That said we will see what they choose to do next week i suppose.
That'd be fine, I just don't want them totally screwing over the lore by doing something so nonsensical as making the elemental people not use elemental magic. It'd be like making archer no longer use bows, and having them use swords instead now.there is no guarantee that they will move elemental skills to thaum, also black mage may not be an elemental master in this game.

I could only see something like that happening under extreme conditions.
Like if you'd welcome changes to FINAL FANTASY XIV that would drastically alter the rules already set in Eorzea.
