silver sacks are from 101-150

Aren't silver from 51-100, and gold from 101-whatever(I have never done 101+ so not sure myself).

1-50: Bronze-Trimmed Sacks
51-100: Iron-Trimmed Sacks
101-150: Silver-Trimmed Sacks
151-200: Gold-Trimmed Sacks

Aren't you able to start from 101 if you are using a preformed party?

No; fixed parties still have to clear 51-100 with no party KOs to proceed to 101+.
