How many of you forum people play other MMO/Console/PC games?

My first MMO experience and only one before FFXIV was Ragnarok Online. Played it on and off for about 2 years until I got tired of it. Not fun when you're not into PvP and the game is pretty much a PvP fest.

On console games, right now I'm playing FFIII on my DS and KH: Re: Chain of Memories on my PS2.

PS2

- Played FFXI from Late 2002 (I was stationed in Japane at the time) off and on untill mid 2004 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FFXI#Expansions)

- Played EQOA from February 11, 2003 to present (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EQOA) I have more fun in this MMO then any I have ever played, but thats just me.

PS3

- DCUO, I liked the game, was having fun, but once sony crashed, I had trouble getting back into it. The game itself is a good idea, and fun to play, has a spectacular graphics tab. One game I truely had fun as a healer. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DCUO)

PC (and this is in no chronological order)

- Played the hell out of MUDs, but then again I am old born in 65. (basically crude but truelly the first reall MMORPG) back when they had em on early AOL dial up. Basically a buch of people playing wizards, warrios, archers, running around trying to capture an item or area or beat down the other team......almost more like a modern day MMOFPS with feral abilities. - Neverwinter nights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neverwi...ghts_(AOL_game) In my opinion, the first true MMORPG. Can you say F-l-o-p-p-y d-i-s-c .........thats good, I knew you could do it. @ words come to mind when I think of this game .....Dark......Angels, that was my guid in this game.

- DDO, had fun as a bard (my favorite class in concept) but its dungeon only grind wore on me and mad the world feel to restrictive. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon...Dragons_Online)

- LOTRO, played minstrel. Not a bad gem in general, I just could never get emersed in it for some reason (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotro#Classes)

- Ultima online played back in the late 90s. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_Online) it was truely fun and seemed so groundbreaking at the time. That is, until i discovered EQ.

- EQ c'mon, needs no introduction. A great game that introduced me to truely loving bard, minstrel, gypsy classes.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EverQuest)

- EQII again , needs no introduction.....(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EQII) Great game, but absolutely lost me as a custome when they changed your ability to adjust stat points, much like FFXIV has now (but they say it is comming back in the near future)

Played tons of MMO, but mainly :

T4C : 1999-2000
DAoC : 2001-2007 (RR11, got couple of time 1st on EU LRP ranking)
PSO DC v1/v2 then PSOBB v4 on PC : 2001 - today (got several time up to Lv.200)
PSU : 2006-2010 (Stopped at ~Lv.160 when PC server closed)
FF XI : 2006-2010 (BLM75 stopped when level cap increase was announced)
FF XIV : 2010-today
Rift : 2011 (got my raid and me first of my Shard, then stopped playing at 1.3)

Then I tried WoW, Aion, TERA, L2, AoC, couple of weeks to 2 months top.

Beside that, playing mainly Beatmania IIDX on PS2, some SSF4 from time to time at work, FPS here and there (Deus Ex HR and more recently BF3, will most likely play MW3 too), single players game on console as well (playing Yakuza 4 right now), and finally a lot of shmup (CAVE games (DDP, Mushihime, etc.)), touhou and other JP shmup doujins.

Excellent taste in games.

as the OP feared this is off topic. i'm wondering is this some kinda market research?

Actually it isn't, i haven't actually logged in for a few weeks now since i don't intend to play till 2.0 or 1.23 depending on the situation. It's just that i've been coming back and surfing the forums and every Gen Disc. thread turns into some raving post getting flamed hardcore by almost the same exact people. This was for my own personal amusement to see if i could actually get a thread started and see how long it stays like this before it spirals.

I play EVE and Rift. I have an active WoW sub, but I don't log on much anymore. I would be playing Mortal Online or Darkfall, but alas indie companies with huge dreams don't always work out. I play BF3 and MVC3 on consoles. I'll be playing TOR, D3, and GW2 when they launch.
