mch dont need "serious help" they just need a couple potency tweaks.

MCH needs a lot more than a couple potency tweaks. BRD blows MCH out the water in personal DPS, raid DPS and raid Utility. This is not even questionable.

except if you actually look at the good mch's. the best bards vs the best mch, the dps difference is 60. people on the forums need to stop acting like the sky is falling.

Edit: The 4450 was fed balances, actual highest is 4098, still a large gap but not as significant.

60? Top MCH parses are 3.6k~3.8k. Top BRD parses are 4k~4.1k without serious padding. BRD walks all over MCH. I do not know where you got this 60 DPS difference from lol.

Probably from my post in another thread or the same source: FFlogs. Comparing top and bottom isn't very practical because of catering and crit/mechanic RNG. It's better to compare a statistical average.

"Best" parses aren't good for comparison because they're literally outliers on the scale. The sample size of Machinist parses is also very low compared to other jobs for the time being.

Okay well even so....MCH has overall lower damage alone and faaaaar less utility and party damage increases. Still an issue regardless that makes it quite literally worse in every way.
