I really hope Yoshi will change his mind soon what do you guys think?
I think you are interpreting his comments in a completely wrong manner.

I never want to make it so that you have to play14 continuously and have to log in everyday...
...avoid forcing people to play because everyone is busy
Quite the opposite to your interpretation, Yoshi-P is showing great respect for players because he won't make a game that makes it so that you have to (as in must) play continuously, or even login every day, or content that forces people to play; he's saying he won't do that because people generally are already quite busy. He is in effect saying that out of respect for our own health and well being he doesn't want to, and won't implement a game that uses the psychological hooks that force players to be there continuously, every day and feel that they are obligated, or forced to be there - at the expense of sleep, health, social life, work, and real life obligations. Frankly I find that a relatively enlightened approach.

He's not in any way disrespecting players. I'd also say that the never-ending buffet of content that we have had in FFXIV quite cleanly satisfies your hope that Yoshi and team will give us more reasons to stay with the game.

I think you are off base and are misunderstanding not only what was said, but also the intent behind it.
