Beyond that i would also like to see how fast this goes off topic compared to most of the other posts i have seen on these forums.

i feel like is a flame bait, but here goes..
I've played Ragnarok Online, and several f2p mmos, before moving to WoW, then PW, GW, RYL, RYL2, Lineage, and many more, and ofcourse Console games that consist of Solo, and multiple player options
Ragnarok Online and WoW is the longest game i've played thou.
I play quite a few. I haven't played many console games recently but quite a lot of PC games. I can see the lack of console playing changing though, I still need to get Arkham City since I was on holiday when it was released and Assassin's Creed: Revelations is out in 2 weeks so I'll be wanting that too.
There's been a few too many Steam deals recently though so I have a big backlog of PC games that are building up.
long term mmorpg: Lineage 2, RF online, Aion
short term mmorpg: Perfect World, Forsaken World, WoW
Test mmorpg: Tera-online
also play FPD and console, but to many
I'll bite.
I have a feeling your question is actually "Do you do all this while active in FFXIV" - right now, I'm only really playing BF3/Rage and soon enough Skyrim. As far as MMOs are concerned, I'm here because FFXI was the only MMO that was satisfying. Blind faith, perhaps.
For the sake of consistency:
Major MMOs (2-3+ years): RagnarokOnline (since alpha) > FFXI > Lineage 2 > WoW > FFXIV
Mid-level get MMOs: Rising Force Online, Warhammer Online, Rift, DC Online
I'd rather rip my arms off than play further: Aion (not a day past beta)
I play PS3 games casually, months in between sessions.

I have no time to play anything other than FFXIV right now. Otherwise, my FFXI account is still active and I'm going to start playing again with my LS once I finish my pesky prelim woes (November 8th).
I bought The Witcher so I can later play The Witcher II and once in a while I dabble in Magicka, because it's just so damn fun.
Other than that... PhD. Stop distracting me.
I've played some MMOs prior to FFXIV, but most were not really satisfing.
6 years all together.
So I was really looking forward to the release of FFXIV, but..meh.
So last autumn I searched for some other MMORPG I could enjoy and found Mabinogi Europe..it was everything a MMO should be, in my opinion.
But it pretty much died in spring 2011 after it was sold (no more updates, no events, no maintenance -> players left -> death of an MMO),
so I had to find something else again.
That's when I started FFXIV again, and it became my main MMO
Still, I occasionally play Mabinogi, and recently I've been playing Vindictus EU since beta.
But I don't need to be very active on both, so I can still focus on FFXIV.
I've never been a console type person.
I don't like games for PC either, so..nope, no console games at the same time as FFXIV.
I play handheld games though...sometimes. Like..a few days a year.
rom
wow
ffxi
eq
lotr
fallen earth
rift
aeon
max char in all of them
my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.
I own a PS3, but I haven't been playing it much lately. I'm thinking about renewing my RIFT subscription later this week, but idk yet. I guess it depends on when 1.20 comes out.
FFXI, Aion, SUN, L2, Forsaken World, Ether Saga, Perfect World, Mabongi, RF online, LOTRO, Ragnarok Online, PSO
I'll only play one mmo at a time though lol
