What Damage Dealer Do You Find Most Enjoyable to Play in SB?

I've only leveled two of my classes so far - SMN and RDM - and RDM destroys SMN in fun factor for me. RDM is simple and satisfying and I've found myself watching the game and fights itself more than my pet. Threw away both my SMN relics to make room for my rapiers because even if they nerf RDM, I'm still going to love it. Next I'm probably going to level BRD because all my BRD friends love it to bits now. And MCH because flamethrower.

(Also it's not the baddest thing to be ready if a buff strikes in in the future ^^)

That's understandable. I'm kind of the same way, but I always enjoy what I'm playing, even as I enjoy other jobs. Being an alt-aholic helps me sail through the rolling sea of buffs and nerfs. Gotta sample all those jobs!

On the melancholy side, my health issues keep me in the slow lane. Simple jobs are the best fit for me but I like reading what other players like to play. So keep those posts coming. This curious lalafell likes to hear what damage dealer you find most enjoyable.

One thing that really is heartening is that the replies have not been solely red mage and samurai. Players continue to love the other damage dealers and that's pretty awesome when you think about it.

I sat for about 4-5 days debating which class I wanted to take to 70. I would break it down to MNK and SAM, then BLM and RDM, then MNK and RDM, etc just kept going I finally started dungeons with them all and found BLM the most fun. I enjoy it's gameplay it's none stop fun.

I'd have to say RDM for me. I just got it to 70, and by god. I usually hate playing casters but for some odd reason everything RDM does just feels so good. I am actually considering dropping my NIN for it as my main DPS!

I still have alot of small tweaks and bad habits I need to correct when I use it. But overall, I love it to death!

Not to mention...I look great in RDM AF gear ^^

I've mained Dragoon since 2.0, and safe to say I am thoroughly enjoying it in this expansion. Granted I am not 70 yet, I have seen our abilities up to that point and am completely ecstatic to finally reach cap and train, train, and train some more. Our gauge is absolutely one of my favorites out of the classes I've seen, and I've started to feel more like a Dragoon with the abilities we are getting (aesthetic wise). Here is to the future, may it balance everyone out so that we can ALL play our favorite class to its fullest without feeling like a detriment to our compositions.

Loving SAM... it feels and flows naturally.... so much mobility, power and it's as easy or complex as you want to make it.... the first 18k crit my jaw dropped

Love Dragoon and hope they can make it less frustrating to deal with downtime. Still think Sonic Thrust was a wasted animation and pointless addition mechanically.

Although my main is a tank, I've been playing back and forth on my various high level DPS. I think that overall it will fall to my BRD. it was my fav back in ARR, though I couldn't bring myself to play it in HW after they turned it into a caster. SB is wonderful, brings my my bard playstyle of old, with the added bonus of making my songs an integral part of the playstyle, rather then fire and forget buffs like every other class has. It still needs a bit of tweaking to be in it's sweet spot, but It still stands out as my fav. Second place would go to my SAM.

i've enjoyed the bard changes. Until I go into a level 50 dungeon and only have 2 songs. there is nothing worse than having 2/3 of a rotation.
