You healers need to stop

What I will say is that I used to be a bit irked by PLDs that used Clemency (I assumed they thought I wasn't doing my job correctly) until I ran Violent Tides with my FC the other day. The PLD used Clemency and I actually said 'he's fine though' on Discord and my friend basically said that he was using it so that I have more time to DPS ^^ Just something to consider =)

Sometimes you cant tell if the PLD is scared for his life or actually is trying to give you more uptime for DPS.

I mean...sometimes you CAN tell by the way the PLD is playing. Sometimes you can clearly see the SHEER insecurity and sometimes you have this badass living-on-the-edge kinda tank who exactly
seems to know what hes doing. But sometimes...I just dont know.
Sometimes the tanks /bow to me at the end of the dungeon...that always reassures me that they seem to have liked it.

I do mass pull and as long I don't die they always get a acommendation most of the time we just flash and once we get a hold of a stable aggro we do our aoe slash there just no room for clemency and if we do we won't have mana or have to wait for mana for the next mass pull

I love how the community tells healers there baddies if they don't dps. Now healers feel like they have to dps when they really don't and this happens. This is a monster of the community's making. Do I dps in the new dungeons? Sure do, but I do so sparingly and focus mostly on dots and stone. I have found that holy is great but causes problems at times so I only use it if I know the tank. Healing requirements have been ramped up in this expansion so the old days of regen and dps are gone. Healers can still dps but they have to be more careful. If the healer is not comfortable yet, just focus on healing, I don't think the community will mind right now.

You can't fix stupid.

If people had actually understood what people were saying - Namely that efficient healing spell usage results in spare resources and downtime that should be used for efficient DPS - they'd have no problems now nor then.

But some people just are like that - They mark the place where they sunk the treasure on the boat, rather than the map. And then are surprised that they never find it again.

Reading here I see I'm not the only one in regards to squishy tanks, pulling way too much, and not having cd's, nor watching healers mp. I was healing in 67 dungeon and the tank started off with big pulls coming... So I figured 2 groups of mobs, as everything hits harder. Nope, tank hits sprint and pulls like 5 groups of mobs. And in our group we didn't even have any jobs with good aoe's. In turn, I have to spam heal just to keep him up, no time to use cards. Plus heal some dps during. And before the mobs are all dead, the tank hits sprint a runs to collect more mobs, with mobs trailing behind from first big pull. With me at less then half mp. Then eventually the tank did die. And he writes, can't keep up? Need to learn to heal. Well when you take like 2 hits and at half health, use no cd's, and can't stand long enough to kill existing mobs before you get more... How is this my fault? Granted not all tanks are like that, but I see this more and more in SB higher end leveling dungeons.

You start to see a huge jump in bardem the level 65 dungeon, those mobs hit like freight trains lol and they are usually in packs of four

there is always time for a WHM to dps hell I wish my AST could get thin air because If I try to pull a WHM I would be OOM so I do my three little gravitys and a coupe melefics and call it a day and continue healing lol

Yeah, holy shit, I wondered if it was just me. My tank tried to take two sets which had been okay in the previous dungeons but they were salsa before I could blink. Not that I'm complaining. I've been wanting SE to do something about tanks pulling like insane monkeys for a long time. I'm okay if I have to focus on healing more. I have noticed increased aggro issues on larger groups with tanks, too. I usually have to Holy spam as a defensive measure now because the tank isn't maintaining aggro on everything.

I just started AST post-60 a day or so ago, and my findings are as such (disclaimer, I am a trashcan):

At the start of larger pulls I pretty much just get to heal, but I don't tend to run out of MP. I only get LOW on MP when it gets towards the end of the pull and I decide it's safe enough for a Gravitython.

Smaller pulls are where I have more of a problem with MP, because I tend to just Aspected Benefic the tank and then go nukenukenukenukenukenukenuke then realize I am sitting on less than 1k MP.

I guess the beauty about AST though is that I can play Yu-Gi-Oh! and refresh myself when I go a little overboard.

Its funny that OP is calling out WHM, its now balanced around having higher personal dps since they lack raid dps cds.

So they have more oGCD heals and mana management tools so they can spend more GCDs dpsing than AST and SCH.

We all know it's a casual tank probably saying "please only heal". You need to stop. Worry about your own MP.

I can run mine whistle dry, DPS, and play heal bombs for days. Not a single issue with MP this xpac unless junk hits the fan in Susano or Lakshimi Extreme. Which is content you'll never be doing.
