They could just turn off other player effects.... The complaints on this forum are just becoming ridiculousAs far as size I never asked for a larger egi. After the oversized gauges that are still too large on their smallest setting it doesn't surprise me that Demi-Bahmut is excessively large. While making him semitransparent would work I'd rather see an option to make him smaller.
We had two of us in a dungeon today and the tank said when they went off simultaneously his screen went white and he lost the boss,
Well before we go and make Bahamut see thru.... Lets address the pet AI mechanics first. Rather them have him follow the SMN around in a fight; have him "place" at the place he was summoned until the SMN is out of combat. In this way, the SMN can place D-B to the side so everyone can see the mechanics yet still be able to see all the special effects.
Yes no he stays that size.
Don't you go ruin the only good thing we got with Stormblood.
Transparency is fine but don't steal my giant Bahabro.

Shush you.
While I agree the complaints on this forums are.... special, this one is legitimate. Also no, they can't turn off other player effects because it's not a player effect, it still shows up on your screen and this is the entire point of this thread, to allow players to turn him off of their screens. No one is asking to remove bahamut and take away SMN's toy. It's just a big visual that not even the SMN can control, but don't punish everyone with it. Let people choose who wants to see it and who doesn't, just like every other effect in the game.
Bumping the topic as we now have an option to change demi-bahamut size, but..
Would it be possible to change this to all the players or add another command to change all the demi-Bahamut to small size so we can see what we're doing in raid ?/bahamutsize [subcommand]
→Changes your Demi-Bahamut display settings. These settings will not apply to other players.
Like many other player, I've been hit by AOE because that thing is too big and cannot be hidden in any way.
Please either add a command or change this one for it to apply to all the demi-bahamut !
Um... guessing you didn't read those patch notes properly... the command to make Bahamut smaller on ones screen is for ALL Demi-Bahamut's not just you when you're on SMN.
Meaning when you input the command to shrink Demi-Bahamut, ALL DEMI-BAHAMUT's, whether summoned by you or another, on your screen will be that size.
The part you quoted just means if you shrink ALL Demi-Bahamut summons, they will remain the same size on other people's screens b/c this is a client side adjustment.

um you just input the command yourself on your end. what's so hard about this? you get to decide on your end what size you want it. if you don't change the size that's on you. this is a client side thing not a server side thing.Bumping the topic as we now have an option to change demi-bahamut size, but..
