    What do you honestly expect to happen? An army of once-were tanks quitting and moving to DPS or healing roles, and duty finder times ramping up to 70 minutes while the devs suddenly panic and implement a hotfix to change the ratios?

    It's likely the str/vit issue will be addressed in the coming patches. Weirdness and settling is part and parcel of the expansion experience. Class imbalance has always been part of new expansion releases. At the end of the day you are still able to do what you are intended to do (hold enmity) and the extra stuff will settle out in time.

    Honestly no, I'm not noticing much different, I'm playing how I always have, do some overpowers in tank stance for large packs and cyclone/decimate, when possible. I open on bosses with a tomahawk/BB combo and of all the dungeons I've done so far I've lost aggro maybe....twice? Both times when I got a little cocky just focusing one mob out of a pack while my dps murdered others

    What I find funny is that there are always people who were playing tank correctly, and there were always people playing healer correctly, and their response to the changes is "what changes?" or even "I like this better"

    Like on WHM, people were raging mad about the lack of utility, but WHM has all the damage bombs. They complained about having to use Cure 2, yet that's the way it was supposed to be played. I actually prefer how Assize works now because it's much easier to just fire it consecutively after Holy.

    With PLD, people were already to retire PLD when they heard what changes were happening, and what a reversal we are at now. Admittedly I've only played it to level 60 during PotD thus far, so I haven't actually figured out what is a usable blocking combo on an actual dungeon, because I'm dang scared of going into a dungeon and having hate ripped off by healers who want to be DPS and then being blamed for it. When I play healer in dungeons I'm actually mindful of where I do overhealing.

    So my guess is that the tanks that are having problems keeping enmity have healers that are overhealing by extreme amounts.

    So far I've leveled drk (70) and I'm in the process of leveling pld (66), here's a brief summary of my overall experience:

    1. AoE threat is a mess right now, period. Flash, Abyssal, and other AoE threat moves need an increase in their enmity modifier, maybe 15%-20% more and I think it will be fine as is.

    2. Single target threat is fine, mostly. With a susano weapon, lahkshmi accessories, and tomestone gear in every slot I've had absolutely zero issues with single target threat.

    3. I definitely notice the decrease in damage but I don't mind it so much, I still stance dance when I can and do my best to speed things up but for a lot of these dungeons some of the enemies hit so hard it's not an option.

    4. Damage taken seems... I dunno inconsistent is the best way to describe it. Sometimes I'll pull and just while establishing threat from the initial pull I'm suddenly at less than half my hp even if I've popped a cooldown or two.

    5. Drk absolutely felt incomplete and squishy as I was leveling it. Then I got it's 70 ability Blackest Night which is an insanely strong mitigation move and it's become a staple of my rotation very quickly. I underestimated just how strong the move is and that it's good in any situation whether you're MT or OT. Seriously, Blackest Night was a total gamechanger for me and I love drk now compared to my rather "meh" feelings towards it while leveling.

    6. Pld felt less squishy than drk, more often I felt perfectly at ease going dps mode during dungeons. However, I can also attribute this to the fact I leveled Pld second and had become comfortable with the dungeons, layout, and trash so I better knew what to expect. I also didn't know healers could heal for as much as they do, burst healing seems to be pretty crazy.

    7. Looking back at point 6, I think burst might be a little too out of control for damage taken and healing. This very quickly leads to a situation where mobs can hit for more than half your HP and every one has to be topped off at all times or die, not a good place to be.

    Short version:

    1. AoE threat needs a buff.
    2. Single target threat is fine, mostly.
    3. Drk doesn't feel complete until 70.
    4. Pld is in a really good place.

    pretty sure you have only been tanking with maybe decent/standard dps while i have had to put up with sam,rdm,drg always doing 4-5k dps the enmity we generate with 3 overpowers is almost gone by the time we start rotating and you probably might then start to realise how bad our enmity generation was gutted. I need to at least berserk cyclone as soon as possible to make sure there glued to me and then maybe i can consider switching to deliverence to decimate when i get 50 gauge so to me its god damn boring.

    I run with insanely good dps. I have noticed a difference in the threat, but that simply means I use aoe enmity moves more, and stay in tank stance more often.

    It's more important to keep the mobs from chewing off the dps's faces while they deal damage than it is for me to deal big damage numbers myself.

    I can't possibly be the only person who's loving the changes to WAR and learning how to optimize them, both as main and off tank.
