What is this new anti dps healer attitude?

I would rather be safe then sorry. When I have to constantly use Mana Shift on the healer taking away from my DPS, I would consider that a bad thing.

maybe dont use mana shift all the time then? My MP, especially as a WHM, was constantly low even in HW and it didnt matter because I had several strong heal skills costing me 0 MP that would last me through the entire pull.
And before the next pull is ready, I'd have enough MP back already.

So either you underestimated those healers, or you only had poorly managing healers. Just because some people do it wrong, doesnt mean the whole idea of dpsing is wrong or bad.
Thats something people need to get in their head.
