Mmm .I have seen a strange change in healer attitudes. before Stormblood I rarely have my HP drop less than 30-40% usually, now I'm finding healers that are risking much more and they're letting my HP drop less than 20-10%, sometimes they even let me die. When I check it, I've seen them casting Malefic, Stone IV or Broil when my HP is 5%. I think they ar risking much more now they don't have cleric stance, and some people can be annoyed. I get annoyed when I die and I see the healer casting DPS spells.

Its a little on both sides. Both healers and Tanks got the way we work changed. I for one lost ALOT of my cooldowns, which blows. Now at 70 I can see how this can work. Just give it time, both healers and tanks are having growing pains, but it will pan out soon.

Totally agree with this. As someone who mains WHM and uses Duty Finder frequently, I find that for every tank I am grouped with who has excellent cooldown management and can handle me pushing the dps, there are 5-6 who trash-pull everything in sight despite being super squishy due to their limited knowledge/ability to manage their cooldowns. I had a run of Kugane Castle with a bad management WAR yesterday afternoon and I spent all my MP just trying to keep him up (I hate being a Cure II spammer) and it was so frustrating because naturally it was my fault that he died, lol.

You're not alone, just DPS where you can if you have the opportunity, that's what I do. I can usually tell on the first trash pull what a run is going to be like

I would rather be safe then sorry. When I have to constantly use Mana Shift on the healer taking away from my DPS, I would consider that a bad thing.

I came across a terrible warrior the other day that did this. It was in my first time in Temple of the fist.

He told me that my faerie couldn't solo heal the dungeon when the fact was that she wasnt. I'd have to burn literally everything I had just to keep him alive when he mass pulled.

Second time I got a DARK that did mass pulls and didn't have any issues

I've not seen that at all. I personally have a hate on lazy healers. I've booted two from my groups since the expansion launched because they wanna just stand there in healing downtime doing nothing. Seems awful weird to me folks would be hating on you for DPSing unless they're dying or struggling to not die

The folks complaining about healer DPS at the end of Stormblood were almost EXCLUSIVELY healers. They were complaining about the pressure being put on them to output more DPS along with their heals.

It sounds like this is a whole new epidemic - if it even is epidemic. I question how common this type of complaint actually is if the run is going smoothly.

Basically, if no one is dying and they are complaining about healer DPS, ignore them, for they are stupid and not worth listening to. On the other hand, if they ARE dying - EVEN IF IT IS THEIR OWN FAULT - hold off on the DPS and carry their scrub asses. Everyone winds up in a gimp party every now and then, and in almost every case the run will be better off by the healer going all-out heals rather than risking a wipe because the DPS can't seem to move out of the bad. If it's simply too much for your pride to carry the bads, the Leave Duty button is just a few clicks away!

maybe dont use mana shift all the time then? My MP, especially as a WHM, was constantly low even in HW and it didnt matter because I had several strong heal skills costing me 0 MP that would last me through the entire pull.
And before the next pull is ready, I'd have enough MP back already.

So either you underestimated those healers, or you only had poorly managing healers. Just because some people do it wrong, doesnt mean the whole idea of dpsing is wrong or bad.
Thats something people need to get in their head.

then dont dps and heal , but yeh tank should have used cooldown , but cooldowns also have a recast time , so they wont be up on every big pull.

or just do medium pulls instead of big pulls :P

Well personnaly I feel like my heals have been nerf so my tank gets to see the light more often when I dps than before.
    Maybe that's a begining of a reason ?

This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
