Leeches have been put out in the salt fields...Leveling SCH because DPS queues are crazy. Went to 50/60 roulette and got Wanderers Palace HM. At the second boss I went ahead and put Eos beside the boss completely forgetting she gets aggro. At the last boss I didn't heal the poison because I couldn't find leeches.
Went to low level and since I was healing, I got The Vault. It was one of the smoothest runs there I've had.
During PvP, I was the only healer in the entire alliance three matches in a row. It's funny when they realize that and every time I popped my head out it turns into a 48v1. There was a match where I just ran around hacking people. I somehow got three comms for it.
Esuna is in the healer additional actions for healers now.
Had my first "fun" fight of the expansion.
First time doing Susano for myself and likely a couple others.
Players are lining up for the knock backs and AoE's and all that jazz, killing the big sword in time, mostly targeting the right stone cup...
Except, it seems, for one Red Mage. I'm pretty sure that any time the narrow safe path AoE wasn't pointing directly behind the boss he was the target (in fact, one time I saw him go flying off to the right via the RDM disengage type ability shortly after being targeted with the red marker). The first attempt this managed to combine with a healer having connection issues with about 20% to go and lead to half the DPS dying fairly quickly as a result of getting hit by AoEs that were suddenly in awkward positions (said RDM had already died at least once before this, by the way), and we wiped at a heart breaking and all too long 1%... after said RDM didn't at least try to LB1 when he happened to be the last one standing on that attempt somehow until about 3-4% left.
The second attempt was overall much smoother, except for our poor Dead...err Red Mage friend, who I believe died 3 times in that attempt alone?
Oh, and the moment we hit LB3, he used it.
It sure was pretty, I'll at least give it that.![]()

I probably would have but I honestly think I was more in shock that day 3 and booted before the first boss cus mr Tank can't tank. Besides, would probably have been chalked up as "Difference in style", obviously a good dps is against what they want. xDHad a similar encounter a while back as a bard in sohm al I believe...
A few pulls, things going not quite smoothly...
Tank pulled a group, I buffed up, and pulled hate from him using aoe skills...
And when that group was down I was kicked from the duty.
Not a word was said apart from some greetings at the start, and a cover macro from the paladin.
I reported the group for vote kick abuse, and I hope you did the same.

Well I'll be damned, so it is! I saw they removed the Sleep trait in the Job Guide, and assumed they dropped the AoE for whatever reason.
I've still seen some immune to it, though, but glad that it's still effective going forward. It's saved me from a fair few terrible tank runs in the past.
Ok, so I'm really enjoying SB with my Pally right now (though I'm a dps at heart, I decided to take Pally through SB because my friends want to level dps jobs to 70 first and it saves on queue times), but damn do dungeons make me work hard x_x
Like yesterday, I did Shisui of the Violet Tides for the first time and there was this insane RDM that just wanted to tank. It didn't help that I was lvl63 with full 270's vs a scaled-down RDM with likely better gear (didn't check because I was too focused on doing my job). Long story short, awesome dungeon but I was exhausted because I was getting a little stressed.
That said, in hindsight it was a nice challenge because it really tested my tanking skills. I also had to actually use my cooldown rotation because the past few months content had been so ridiculously easy I could get away with using just Rampart and FoF+Bloodbath (rip Bloodbath for tanks).
Walked away with the weapon and shield too, so I'm really not complaining :P
The second boss of the level 65 dungeon with new people is my favourite thing ever.
Sitting back and watching them wonder wtf is going on then running round like headless chickens while gradually getting better is magical
I don't either, it's garbage. I have the same as you except E4E instead of Protect, I have a macro that switches it in, casts it and switches it back out again I use instead.I don't even have it equipped as a role ability. Not worth the slot. Protect, Esuna, Swiftcast, Lucid Dreaming and Largesse are what I'm using right now. Some of those are situational. If I know I'm going into a raid and who the other healer will be, one of us can equip Protect

Ever since the expansion hit I've been having to deal with a lot of ranged dps who run around the boss like morons and stand from the other side of the group then get surprised when they die because aoe heals aren't hitting them. I know it's fun to run! You are pure and forever free! But I'm not taking up a precious role slot for rescue. Please please just stand near-ish to group. I don't like making people upset by not res-ing them and mp is finite to an extent. ;_;
