    The new UI for giving personal information is nice for the card aspect of it, but still lacks the functionality that ASTs need to do their job.

    Being unable to click active, saved or royal roaded cards is making any sort of planning and adjusting frustrating. Let alone not being able to tell what kind of status the card is on the party member. Is it Enhanced? Extended? Unbuffed? No one knows. I can't tell, my party members can't tell and neither can the other AST who can't plan around my card usage and vise versa.

    The UI is nice to give personal information at a glance (the RR'd part is too small though) but I cannot see bring an AST into any PUG scenario because using the cards work against you. That alone makes it frustrating.

    In my opinion, it looks visually pleasant, but functionality is a huge step backwards. As others have mentioned, it has big problems:

    1. Cannot see other AST's cards. Even if I set up macros in order to coordinate, it just makes things more cumbersome.

    2. Cannot click off saved cards. Now if I want to get rid of saved card, I must also get rid of saved buff. This is REALLY annoying.

    3. (minor issue) Now I must read many words instead of just seeing a picture of an icon to see what buff effect is in place already. Picture is worth 1000 words...

    If it was SE's intention to make healing more easy/approachable for new ASTs, these changes actually made AST difficulty HIGHER imo.

    (Unless if you wanted to nerf AST, then I'll just put up with it.)

    Please change it back or have both.

    Also, the size of the UI is obnoxiously big...

    Well, you can change the size of the UI on your HUD layout...

    Also, all the AST icons in your party list could be frightening to new people, I guess this way is more friendly, indeed, but it's also not that good... It's perfect for soloing, it's just not good to go with a party... (wich is most of the game)

    I agree with this! I would appreciate being able to see what the second AST has in terms of buffs, so we can see who goes first, or I don't accidentally override his AOE Balance with my AOE Bole. oops!

    There are only a few things I'd like to see change.

    1: The ability to see other players cards.
    This is critical for planning when raiding/running dungeons with random people.

    2: Changes to the UI's Royal Road Verbiage.
    50% AoE ---> +AoE
    200% ---> +Duration
    150% ---> +Potency

    3: Changes to the Royal Road's icons in the UI.
    The Royal Road icons need to be visible and unique so that I can tell what RR action I have selected at a glance. Instead of having to stare and read the description.

    4: Bring back Floating Text for Cards.
    This was incredibly useful because when drawing cards I now have to look over at the UI to see what card I drew. I find myself spending more time in dungeons/raids looking at my UI cards now then the fight itself. This will be even more confusing for new players because they have to identify the card by its picture or read the incredibly small text below it.

    I would also like to allow all other players to see cards. I feel that these new gauges were probably not necessary for every job.

    If they could restore the old functionality, and make the gauge/status icons toggleable for the player's ui that would be great (for me ). They would just need to add an icon for the lord or lady.

    It might mean that many or most player won't use the gauges the designers spent so much time working on, but I think their effort may be a sunk cost at this point. Some jobs have one gauge, others two, since the uniformity ship has sailed, I think they have a justifiable rationale to allow some jobs to drop their gauge completely. Just a thought.

Now I have next to no way of knowing, since even their dreadwyrm trance is hidden.

    Everything about this new gauge screams "Tacked on" just because the other jobs have gauges.

    It's infuriatingly bad.

    Frankly I hate most gauges entirely. At least have the gauge be an option while still retaining them showing up as buffs.

    I think(hope) SE will quickfix the party status&ailments indication to include AST card draws in the future.
    I do see how it would create issues in raids with the two AST Not being able to see each other's cards and effects!

    Thats why the forums are here! They may have never even thought of it.

    It may be their passive aggressive way of forcing out duplicate Healer-jobs.

    But invariably the random party-finders crumpling them together will happen.

    I actually don't mind the aetherflow stack gauge missing because I assume this means MNKs can no longer punch them off me in PVP.

    Just a minor thing, is anyone else bothered by the fact that the CD for draw isn't on the gauge itself? It seems like such a vital role and IMO would make the gauge actually useful, because then I can have a condensed 60% UI showing me the draw CD, and all my cards at once.

    I just want more numbers. If you're gonna throw a job UI on me then it better tell me everything I need to know about my card buffs: When is draw off CD, when is time dilation off CD, when is my CO off CD? Because at the moment it's just 90% wasted space for a royal road gauge.

    I currently only used the gauge for checking what Royal Road I have. I can see my drawn card via the ability and the spread card via spread. Its literally the only purpose the gauge has right now because they haven't given use the option to use the buffs instead.
