Gear for DoM

Every class will always look roughly the same *if* they all aim for the same best gears. SE could design 30 different mage equippable outfits and you'd still see the majority of at least the capped players, running around in the same exact outfit. The only real differences might be their healer/nuker/dot set design. The same is true for all the other classes as well. People always want to wear *the best* gears...this usually =everyone looks the same.

I don't think you understand. Its not so much tha design of the gear. Its the color. Its not just that the best itm is "Helm A" its that it is "Helm A "orange"" so to be optimal, everyone has to wear th ecaxt same design and color.

No I DO understand...what I'm saying is this...if Helm A 'orange' is the best helm for the class then most players will walk around in that helm as soon as they can equip it. It doesn't matter how many other choices there are...that is what the majority will wear. Now, if you think 'hey orange is a sucky color'. I get it BUT level 50 is NOT endgame so well, the gears should be a little 'eh' because quite frankly, it's mid level gear in the scheme of things and the 'dude, that is some sexy gears you got there' stuff should be more high level.

So pretty much, why ask SE to waste time creating 5-10 different looks for a rank 50 Mage if/when about 3 of them would be plausable gearsets? (Healer/Nuker/DOTer) There are better ways to spend both their and our resources and time.

You know, there is always got to be someone in a thread that just has to troll everything. Who really gives a **** if 50 isn't goin to be the cap in the next year. And they have different teams creating different things in this game, I doubt the whole team would spend their time creating outfits. Why can't you just agree with the thread? We have been so limited to what we can wear now. I hate that I can't wear a felt shirt or kecks. Better yet, why can't I wear trousers? It's so limited now, esepcially for mages.

Making a point isn't trolling... I wasn't rude to the original poster OR anyone else. I just stated my opinion, and then re-clarified when someone thought I didn't understand them. Also, not trolling.
