Here is Why:

We have a team that built upon, rebuilt, and improved a game that for all intents and purposes, was terrible.

But what did they do? they Didn't give up, they updated, they patched, they brought it from a steaming pile to a presentable pile, then hid it away for a year and a bit and came back to us and presented us a roast dinner.

What does that say to the many people sitting here, abusing Square, their staff and the team that has put Hundreds of hours into creating something you can enjoy and play? That are giving up their time and sanity to sit at their computers, run tests, fix and compile code, and use their brains to try and make another expansion go well.

Tell me people - do you think a restaurant with prestige and a name like for example Chef Ramsey would just open? No - they have Soft openings - they open to people to come and taste items, review and update before the official opening. But since a game isn't a restaurant, its not a soft opening! So it is early access! Think of it that way - you are here to sample the game before the official launch.

It is thanks to you, from the sane and reasonable to the whinny and ignorant, that they are improving as a team, a company and as individuals to offer more to you.

I honestly doubt there is anyone sitting on their backside at any Square office at the moment, and are working extremely hard to combat the issues you face.

So a few thoughts:

- Yes you payed money, and that money is paying for the commitment of the staff to provide you with a service.

- You're not a Special snowflake like your mum said, that requires every developer drop everything and pay attention to your needs.

- You pay money for this - good for you - but as it is quite literally not even 3 days and with the needs of over 1 million people on a tonne of servers accessing a product from all over the world - you may not be the main priority!

- There are real people that you are screaming insults, posting hurtful and mean comments to, people that have homes, families, bills, and lives to lead. These people, despite this sort of negativity that's prevalent, are working their backsides off to get the game working to a standard again.

- Could you just PLEASE grow a set of whatever you are missing and either Quit like you keep saying, unsubscribe as you promised and take your negativity to another game.

- No the game should not be shut down to be fixed - they are already working on fixes - a majority of people can play the game and you are unlucky - sorry but because you are not having fun anymore, does that mean that thousands that have been fortunate should suffer? If you answered yes - you need a reality check and a visit from the ghosts from the Scrooge stories...

- For once.. ONCE I would like to see the community come together and support the team that's working hard to make it work. The only time people visit here is because something somewhere irked you in some manner and you feel the need to express it. (Yes I am guilty of this right now - the irony is not lost on me i assure you!)

Please. It's been four years since they "saved" the game. You can only give them credit for that for so long. You can stop bringing it up already. It doesn't exonerate them from all future faults.

While this is true, there's a severe issue here that everyone has already gone about: INSTANCE SERVERS. Yoshida himself already spoke about it, but coming back later hasn't fixed the problem, meaning they're still working on said solution. I understand they work hard and are attempting to improve our game, and as much as I like it, things like this are something that are a heavy turn-off to people. I mean, go look at the congestion around 60-61 MSQ! You'll see blobs of people just surrounding Raubhan and Pipin trying to get into the instance, but still can't.

What's more, Square Enix CANNOT GET FEEDBACK EXCEPT ABOUT THIS ISSUE due to the majority still being stuck spamming the hell out of 60-61 MSQ trying to get into Duty Battles. That is a major downside, and until they fix this problem they can't get anything more than FATEs, possible job feedback, etc.
