Once again another thread is made using data from the media tour. Yes, I'm aware of the spreadsheet that showed Paladins having a higher overall Potency. But that's kind of pointless now considering redditers are now picking apart the actual patch itself as we speak. The doom and gloom is pretty silly when the data is about to be changed any hour now.

Actually data mining the patch is showing that very little has changed since the media tour, meaning that PLD is still grossly overtuned/overbuffed, and they have gutted WAR and eviscerated DRK so this thread actually brings up an extremely valid concern.

Sadly you're correct, i'm still gonna level Drk just because i've played it for so long but I will level Pld as my second class, these are valid concerns and I hope SE actually looks at the feedback instead of just telling us to "calm down".

i wasn't very worried about balancing since i knew the data was from an earlier build - until they told us "to calm down". this was telling me: they have actually no plan what to do and can't say anything else since there is nothing to say. "calming down?" - hell no, just tell us what you plan to do to clean up this mess xD

Data is from the full release patch notes. There's a link to the job guide which lists the changes.

TL;DR Paladin is king, DRK and WAR get the boot.

Most of the susano ex parses are showing the tanks dps to be pretty similar. xenosys vex was consistently out dpsing the PLD in his group when I was watching his stream last night, he was even keeping up with the 3rd and 4th dps. That 20% more dps for PLD spreadsheet is not really panning out.

I personally cant wait for next episode of Unchained as xeno and co usually does really deep tank analyzing in that show, and untill first raid tier its hard to say what will the numbers be when content gets serious. Gameplay vise PLD is now how it should have been in 2.0 so better late than never i guess, but numbers can still be tweaked so if it does most deeps while having all these new utility tools then i can see some nerfs coming in 4.1 assuming those utilities are actually useful in savage.
