So why play anything other then paladin?

-Everyone can now block magic damage, paladins have a shield so they can do it better. -Paladins can now aoe tank like bosses with more mitigation.
-Warriors can't self heal anymore paladins have clemency so why bother.
-Same dps now pretty much across all the tanks slight edge with paladins.
-No one asked for blackest night on DRK I do not see how this helps scholars, and astrologians did it fine.
-As far as i see enmity generation is nearly the same too so why bother.
-Overall highest potency spreadsheet on paladins.
-Oh year blocking and parrying are nolonger direction so year paladins are just as good at aoe pulling as DRKs (No more DA+DD)

So basically outside of selfish a desire to play to your flavor, your gonna be gimping your group by playing any tank that's not a paladin.

For shame square in your shameless aim for balance you've killed variety and any reason to play other tanks in a group setting.

For the people who do raids or trials like myself and other players this is a huge pain.

I swear to god if Paladins somehow end up being the tank noone wants for higher content again everyone complaining about how they OP will need to buy a hat and eat it. And SE will need a kick in the butt.

Anyways the REAL reason to play Paladin instead of the other two tanks is because they finally have a good sprint animation.

So what i'm hearing is double PLD? PLD got a lot of love, yes, but this isn't gonna stop me from playing DRK. (even though it sort of got the short end of the stick) Also, i'm sure SE will balance out the tanks properly, i mean, look at AST. :P

i don't know, apparently instead of trying to make a good balance between the 3 they think it's a good thing to put fuck all effort for the other 2 tanks so they can end up being a fodder for the to-be-dominant tank

One thing the paladins can't do as well as the other tanks is aoe damage. Drk has much better sustain on large pulls and War will beat in aoe damage with 6 steel cyclones.

Once again another thread is made using data from the media tour. Yes, I'm aware of the spreadsheet that showed Paladins having a higher overall Potency. But that's kind of pointless now considering redditers are now picking apart the actual patch itself as we speak. The doom and gloom is pretty silly when the data is about to be changed any hour now.

Anyone that thinks Paladins will retain the highest DPS of the three tanks when the servers go live hasn't been playing this game for very long. [Posted by a career Paladin.]
