I might be wrong but I think hot bars and gear sets are kept in a separate file that gets preserved even if you delete the application. I'm having the same error I'm trying a database reload if that doesn't work I'm gonna reinstall =(

This is true. I was using HW disc for ages. Until the other day I had to DL digital so I could get SB digital. All macros/HUD/Hotbars remained.

I tried reloading the database and that didn't work so I'm about to delete and reinstall, I'm on PS4 Pro btw if that maters.

Okay! I am happy to announce that after redownloading and patching the entire game, Stormblood is now pleasantly downloading onto my PS4.

so the only way to seemingly fix the issue is to reinstall the game? I have all versions of the game on digital guessing ill lose my macros and such?

total noob question. I have the early access already and its set up through the lodestone but how can I update the patch during maintenance?
