Two handed hammer swinger based on Nero and "garlean tech" like the MCH is. In those sexy armors the top Garleans wear. Call the job Judge for maximum cool.

I'd like to see a Blue Mage tank. The whole "get hit by an ability to learn it" is very tank-like and it would be nice to have one of the "color mages" be a tank.

Obviously they would have to limit the monster ability gathering somewhat, making the core, important abilities part of the job quests most likely, but they could have some nice bonus abilities available to people willing to hunt for them.

I'd love to see a two-handed mace sort of tank.

Or, alternatively, a flail user. Those are my dream weapons, I'd ditch dark knight in a second if I got either of those two.

I would be happy with anything as long as it doesn't use a sword of any kind. We have too many sword-based jobs now and would like for them to try something new.

If I had my way, Samurai and Dark Knight would switch roles....

But since that's not likely to happen, something along the lines of Fencer would be cool. A more dodge focused tank (think monk in WoW for those that played)

Viking, who could wield powerful hammers or dual-wield shields, allowing for different builds. And skills that reduce the enemy's defense and whatnot.

Since paladin in this game has holy/rune knight and can eventually break off into other types of knights, tank job creation had to be something completely new to the ff series or diverse outside of the current 3

Blue Mage or Beast Master are fun ideas I've heard tossed around! Anything to step away from the brute tanks we already have would be interesting I think.
