Another wipe in PotD... on Floor 190, this time....
Too much rushing... too many people making mistakes...

I. JUST. WANT. THIS. FREAKING. CLEAR.

First 175. Then 197. Then 195. Then 190.
Losing any hope I'll ever get to sit on that Floor 200 bench.
Or get my pretty PotD earring.

/patpat - I know the feeling, my group made it to floor 200 just recently after wiping on floors 170, 180 and somewhere after 180 one time... I never felt so frustrated (and I've been in EX-primals with french people before!), but hang in there! You can do it! And once you've got your bench-shoots all the frustration will vanish!

...I'm even considering getting people together for a second run... I want the second pillar for our garden...

First run of Urth's Fount, everything proceeding smoothly, as expected, until the end, when tanks start panicking that nobody is using LB during Odin's charge-up. Nobody else had quite realized that all the DPS were ranged, so nobody thought to be on top of it. Pulled it off myself with scarcely a second to spare. Yeah, we still had a few extra seconds with the animation, but still cut it pretty close. Fun clear.

Do you know what really grinds my gears? When in 8-man content (or 24-man content) I cast protect at the very begining, making sure it lands on everyone (waiting on the cutscene guys) and the other healer casts protect 10 seconds after. But that was the begining of this story.

So I had the famous afk healer today in the Praetorium. I was DPSing like a madman and refreshing medica II on the group during boss fights and casting regen on the MT. The other healer was standing there, starting at the boss, moving around, jumping. This healer was a PvE content mentor. I think he dropped a couple of dots without CS at some point. He was also standing on AoEs. There were some new people (sprouts) around and I didn't want to causa drama by calling this slacker out, so I just bite the bullet and finished the dungeon. But man, I wish I could virtually kick people in the n*ts sometimes. -.-

On Primal, had Castrum Meridianum, both tanks new (or idiots.) So clearly myself and one of the DPS knows it inside and out, but good golly, everyone stopped and DPS'd everything, anywhere, the cannons may not have even needed to exist. The kicker was at the final door where there's like 6 of the giant mobs, and the new tank heads straight into them the second the door opens. Chaos ensues.

I kinda want SE/Yoshi-P to un-nerf this and Praetorium. I know it's easy, but it's hitting "that tickles" easy.

Some nerd: "Why didn't you heal me?"

Me, after the person died because they ran into a stack aoe at 10% health while all my oopsie buttons were on cooldown, and i was in the middle of casting a heal: "I just don't know"

I also had a guy once who didn't know what protect was or how it functioned, and thought it was a barrier that prevented damage. I blame the animation for that though, every time you take a hit there's a flash of a barrier. He kept dying to mechanics and screaming "WHY DON'T YOU SHIELD ME AFTER YOU REZ ME?" while we were both WHMs (confused the ever living hell out of both of us, and neither of us were about to hardcast stoneskin in the middle of an admittedly healing intensive fight). I would definitely heal him to full after rezzing him unless someone else had priority, but he'd just die to another avoidable mechanic.

It finally dawned on me that he wanted me to hardcast protect mid-fight every time i brought him back, so i did, he said "THANKS" and promptly died again. Me and the other healer non-verbally agreed to just leave him on the floor where he kept typing "rez?". It was easier for all of us that way, he was basically there to give us that third LB bar.

Maybe they wanted to do the dungeon as intended instead of a cannon speedrun. :P

So random roulette gives limitless blue (hard)
I toss out some dps while healing, people start taking shit tons of avoidable damage and then get yelled at for not dpsing from the tank. Same said tank doesn't pick up adds
