Will physick be changed to match vercure?

RDM gets is to make their utility unique and it fits in with the theme of RDM being able to use white and black magic. People have tested physick and shown it's still weak on SMN.

I disagree. Vercure and Physick should heal for similar amounts - RDM uniqueness is Dualcast which effectively would make Vercure twice as good as Physick.

Each role has their uniqueness.

RDM can heal/dps, but their AoE is atrocious. 100 potency AoE and one 45 sec 300 potency AoE.

SMN can tank with Titan, and has supremely good AoE

Not anymore we can't, since sustain is gone. Titan is squishy, he'll be dying in seconds now lol. I'd say SMN uniqueness is multitasking, sustained damage and damage without lifting a finger lol. I send ifrit and garuda out to kill annoying creatures out in the world as I continue my relaxation.

dual cast is nothing more than swift cast.
it still takes up a GCD.

so it takes 2 GCDs to land 2 Vercures.
it takes up 2 GCDs to land 2 Physicks.

also, I disagree, SMN isnt known for their heals.

For the purpose of emergency healing, Dualcast is actually worth noting. While it is correct that two GCDs would be used in either case, the Red Mage would essentially drop a 700 potency cure in the span of 2.5-3 seconds whereas a Summoner would have only been able to heal for 400 potency in that same span of time. Between the two, Red Mage will have greater life saving potential.

Exactly...and I don't get the negativity towards SMN having a non-useless heal. The only acceptable reason for Physick to not be as good as Vercure (or close) is if SMN pets are now near immortal...they removed sustain so how are SMN's supposed to keep their pets alive? Not with the current Physick, that is for sure.
