Can we have tall and fierce looking Viera women, and smaller, plumper cute bunny boys.
I really am tired with the current trend the game has when it comes to gender. You know, the typical moe-blob females with their manly muscly male counterparts.
Yoshida is always full of excuses. Viera doesn't even wear shoes in FFXII.After reading this https://www.finder.com.au/final-fant...ormblood-viera
I'm all like

Just add a shoe heel and Voilá!
Well that is the norm between males and females when it comes to mammals

What's being implied, and not an excuse as some are saying in this thread, is that if they do implement the Viera, they won't be the high heeled variant some of you are hoping for. The high heeled variant would need every piece of foot gear to be specially made for them, not the up-scaling or down-scaling gear gets between Roegadyn and Lalafell. Even from talks about the butt-slider and all, Yoshida made it very transparent that they do not want to make any custom gear. They want to leave it to stretch, upscale or downscale. That being said, because the race would probably have to be re-imagined before they can be put in, you will never receive the Viera because the Viera already have a set look about them. After reading this https://www.finder.com.au/final-fant...ormblood-viera

Also, still annoyed people still call it Viera race concept art featured in Heavensward. No, it was Au Ra concept artwork sporting the Viera design. Like I've mentioned before when it comes to that particular art and concept, we were getting Au Ra either way, the design was what was being decided on. Au Ra just had a chance of being leporid. (From the first Heavensward artbook.)
Um, no. It's listed under Au'ra concept art because they created it on the side for fun during the Au'ra concept art process. The actual concept itself had nothing to do with Au'ra though. Those are 100% legit 14 crafted concept Viera race, created for fun, knowing it wasn't being put in the game in the near future. More than likely done because of the feedback they had up to that point with the fanbase desiring Viera and the artists thought they'd take a shot at a few concepts. Also, still annoyed people still call it Viera race concept art featured in Heavensward. It's gonna happen. Just you wait. It'll take another couple of years, but I could bet a month of salary on it.

Considering it was being showcased with all of the other Au Ra concepts and labelled in the art book as such (viera, demonic/draconic with male and female even split up, viangaa, and beastly). While being in the artbook for Heavensward, which becomes quite silly if they, as you put it, knew it wasn't being put in the game in the near future.Um, no.
