This is sorta bitter sweet-ish.

I just did my frontline roulette and had a really awesome cohealer. ;; They were sooooooo great, and our team won... but there is this glitch I've noticed sometimes I get booted out of FL right when it finishes...

So I didn't get to give them a commendation. ;; I'm so sad.

On the plus side I need to run one more frontline and I'm done with PVP. It will be enough to get the last piece I need to get the Makai Master title.

but the tank definitely, definitely SHOULD hit each mob with something...or else ANY skill, no matter how little hate it builds, will make the tank lose aggro.

Ugh, I've been playing healer lately during roulettes, and some tanks have this weird thing of just walking past the trash, gathering them. No overpower/flash/unleash at all. Most of the time there's an monster that hasn't been touched by the tank and it runs back to me when I have to heal or pre-buff people with shields, eye for an eye or my fairy decides to heal people during a pull (Specially if the tank is taking a monumental amount of damage during the big pull).

I remember once, and this was probly months ago at this point, i was in an ARF run. The tank was face pulling and not doing any AoEs until everything was gathered. I was running a bit behind the party with my BLM, so i targeted a random party member(happened to be the tank) used Aetherial Manipulation(you know, the teleport skill) to catch up. Teleporting next to the tank while he ran(doing no damage, no heal, no buff - nothing but moving my character) was enough to peel 3 or 4 of them off him and on to me. Lesson learned. Now i target the healer if i want to Manip.

Ok it happened...IT FREAKING HAPPENED OMG!!!

So i was in an Expert, everyones in 260+ gear, we all say hello, We pull and right off the bat the Drk doesn't use Unleash, nope. What do they use....can you guess? It's not Dark Passenger nope nope, it's FLASH. This isn't like a level 30 dungeon this is max level, albeit not taxing, but it's max level content and they can't use Unleash a move you get at level 8....holy s*it.... You have Unleash you don't ever EVER need Flash in any kind of scenario as a Drk.

I asked them can you please use Unleash over and over in translation, they said hi so they understand english, nothing not a word at all. Monk pulls threat on first boss and dies because the tank hit sprint and is using Delirium. I ask them why are you using Flash, their response and i'll never EVER get over it was "it costs less mana :P", I left the group and said to myself that's it for FFXIV for the day.

The ability of a drama queen to get offended is truly without equal.

Take, for instance, this example I ran into, during the Dun Scaith run from the ninth circle of Hell, featuring someone who apparently believed we were calling her names. Unfortunately for her, a simple scroll-up on the chat log would show that absolutely nobody on the party had been calling her any sort of name. I directly asked her to quote messages where we had been calling her such, and her response was to type out messages that other people in the party had written, except she included the names that we'd been allegedly calling her.

Some part of me would be amazed at this person's ability to make up complete, blatant, BULLSHIT just to be offended. The majority of me is so void of emotion by now, that I just can't bring myself to care.

As a cherry on top, that run also included a newbie DRK who couldn't be bothered to mention this or actually tank, and a dumbass of a SCH who was apparently their partner. When someone else rightly called out the DRK for not doing anything, whoop de doo, SCH starts calling them names and telling them not to be a big, mean jerk. Not exactly in those words, but I'll leave it up to your imagination.

I ran a A8 nm on SMN a few days ago to help someone on my server clear out that content. Fight starts and most of the people there are new.

I end up raising people about 8 times, at one point getting both healers up saving the whole group from a wipe in the middle phase. Multiple raises on one of the tanks and healers throughout the fight. Still managed to have second highest dps through all of this.

No comms.

I want to see gatekeeper content, but it should be SOLO. That way, one player doesn't cause 7 others to not clear.

Gatekeeper content will only leave out actual Bad Players (regardless of their wishes to improve or not) but it won't stop those "Good" Players who will just clear it and won't give a rat's ass afterward during the actual party content.

PSA: If you're the leader of a party finder farm group that is on a very good roll... instead of silently and without warning disbanding the party when you're presumably done, how about passing leadership instead? Especially when there's still 30 minutes left in the bonus window. That group was wonderful, and just because you're done with it doesn't mean the rest of us are.

Had a WHM and WAR pair in Dzemael Darkhold from the leveling roulette. The WHM was still a greenleaf, but the WAR had a couple of 60s. The WHM couldn't keep up with healing even just the WAR, much less anytime we DPS got hurt, and the WAR couldn't seem to figure out for the life of him how to hold aggro on the targets that attack from range, to the point that our NIN nearly died, (healer did nothing), from a single one that both she and I were killing, (she grabbed it because it was attacking and nearly killed the WHM and the WAR was doing nothing), while the WAR was standing five feet away just attacking three other mobs, just because they were in the glowing areas while this enemy was a couple of feet outside of it.....

The worst part is that the exact same situation happened multiple times throughout the dungeon, and there were more than a few times that both the NIN and I were having to tank enemies because they'd go after the WHM and the WAR was too distracted with the one or two enemies everyone else was ignoring. I know that people in the leveling roulette can't be expected to know their classes by heart, but you'd think that at level 47, (both were at the cap for the dungeon), they'd at least know how to do the simplest aspects of their jobs.....
