1. The Au Ra clans have homelands. Now I don't feel like I'm shoehorned in the game. I feel more like my race was an early introduction.
2. The Japanese styled music. I'm truly optimistic about it, due to my love for other cultural forms of classical music.
3. Samurai! This class looks like its going to be great. I'm also fond of the running animations, and sword sheaths. It's nice to know that Ninja won't be the only class with a unique animation. It's also nice to have a place to rest my sword.
4. New cities! I can't believe we're getting four. Rhalgrs Reach, Kugane, Ala Mhigo, and Doma. That brings the number of currently visitable cities to ten, if you add Gridania, Uldah, Limsa Lominsa, Ishgard, Mor dohna, Idyllshire, Kugane, Rhalgrs Reach, Ala Mhigo, and Doma all together. I obviously didn't count places like Tailfeather, and Falcons Nest. Those are towns, not cities. They're nice to have though.
5. The underwater town that has been shown, makes me very fascinated by the Kojin. I'm excited to form a friendship with them in the Stormblood expansion. I'm also eager to explore the new dungeon Shishui of the Violet Tides. The fact that it's under water excites me! The new mechanics that I think I am noticing also excites me. I am mystified.
6. Yotsuyu. I can't wait to kick her butt out of my homeland! She's an insufferable prick, and I hope she dies.![]()
7. Lakshmi. It really amazes me that they picked such an obscure primal, from my favorite solo Final Fantasy game. I'm eager to find out what they'll do with her.
8. The Sea of Jade looks like the ocean in Pokemon Ruby, and Sapphire! You have the adorable bubbly diving animation, the shallow pools that you can stand on, and the ability to explore.
9. Ala Mhigo is part of Eorzea, and it has annoyed me greatly, that a city still stands under Garlean control. It's time to take it back!
10. New mount speeds! I am eager to be able to travel in old areas, with much more haste! I just fear that due to the mount speeds, the developers may never give 2.0 areas the flying feature.
