Is it? How many times do people call up companies and go "oh I'm going to switch unless you lower my bill or give me this". All the damn time.

SE did something VERY VERY wrong here. And if people are so upset about these changes that they are rethinking about pre-ordering their new expansion and/or cancelling their sub, they need to hear that. Why? Losing subs and not selling expansions hurts their livelihood.

And you better believe that last thing I want to hear is "please wait for it".
