I normally play on ps4, but I might be getting a decent computer soon. Is this code considered a good deal? or would just buying SB for PC unlock everything outright?

FFXIV's marketing efforts lately have been really special. Wrestling promotion, pizza promotion, Hardee's.... I can't imagine any of them pulling in significant numbers of new subs, but I could be wrong.

When it comes to Japanese marketing, well first they have strong notoriety but they also have 7-11 which I believe has the most stores in Japan itself. Think about that for a moment, size of Japan, amount of 7-11 in it, and it becomes the perfect spot for advertising and marketing.

Even with the success of FF worldwide, they still need a lot of work on the marketing department to get new players interested in their IPs. They are playing aggressive with their advertising tactics but they still have to figure out what works or even those interested in advertising for them. I'm not sure what the numbers were for WWE, but that was definitely a step in the right direction, it has a large enough audience to catch the eyes a lot of new people that may be interested in the game. As for Hardy's and Carl's Jr, hard to say like their analytics need work, maybe Dave and Buster's would work better. Imagine this. SE strikes a deal with D&B's and setups 8 arcade designs for FFXIV PVP and let the people in the area go 4v4 against one another. Heck if that works they could then try to get their other arcade IP's to the states like the Dissidia or Lords of Vermilion.

I would love to see FFXIV do something with Arby's! Arby's always seems in tune with geek culture so I asked them and they actually responded! Hopefully they do get something rolling.
