The game doesn't have a lot of romantic or sexual innuendo. What innuendo there is comes from two different male characters in the MSQ toward the WoL, which can be a man.

Honey you have no idea how many times I've pictured Estinien x Alphinaud. Aymeric x Haucherfant. Urianger x Alphinaud. Zephirin x Haucherfant.
Do I WANT such characters in the game? Yes. Do I NEED such characters in the game? No.
For all we know, Y'shtola could be having a giant crush on my kitty girl but for the sake of my happiness with Aymeric, she chose not to confess to me. (I still love you Y'shtola)

I know SE will probably not make her transgender but she looks like a great character for a transgender woman . She is strong and beautiful, I saw her and thought she would be transgender :P.

EDIT: I saw the title and thought it would be a serious thread. Skyrior's threads seem to be about stirring the pot rather then making a serious discussion . So upset now.

I know this was mentioned already and I also know that the OP loves trolling but still:

We already had a character in the MSQ that was open to everyone: Haurchefant. And his attraction to the player was even much more noticeable in the Japanese version of the game. So its not like SE ignores this. Also there is a gay couple in a side quest and you can marry whoever you want.

I have nothing against them introducing another gay/bisexual character in the MSQ but please dont just create characters for that reason alone. If his/her sexuality is part of his/her background and a reason of how they are today then its fine if they hint at that but I just dont want someone in the game just for the reason of "omg look at me I am gay". I kinda feel like this would not be nice for rl LGBT players too.

This is a tricky one simply because you would need to introduce the character first and foremost so you don't just automatically think "oh look the token gay, transgender character, SE just ticked a box"

You need to add a character into the game slowly, get to know them 1st before exploring any personal relationship they bond, as the story progresses over time have the character openly share feelings and express them. But this would then go on longer than most people would care for and it also lands into the trap it could be mishandled.

It might be 2017 but regardless SE don't want to put themselves in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

Personally I have no issues of them adding such characters, as long as they fit the story narrative and are not there just to please a section of the fan base. I want a character that means something
